Everything Works
First off, I'm reviewing the kit supplied by "sunways" and fulfilled by Amazon (one day shipping no less). I can confirm with this kit at least, that the included screwdriver and repair kit does have the necessary items to open the phone. I can't speak to the experiences with other folks, so potentially your mileage may vary. The kit includes a (actually pretty high quality) driver kit which includes the necessary philips and T2 Torx bits, and some (less impressive) guitar picks/spudger/suction cup. Of course you also get the replacement USB/headphone flex cable assembly, and finally some foam strips (if you choose to replace the foam that lines the bottom edge of the phone seam). The repair process is pretty simple and well detailed on Youtube. The T2 torx bit might not seem like it fits at first, but put gentle pressure against the screw and start unscrewing and they do come out (unless they're full of junk, you may want to clean them out with a q-tip and some alcohol). The hardest part by far is opening up the phone, and the spudger that is included is barely adequate for the task as it starts rapidly disintegrating as you use the (almost equally inadequate) suction cup to help pry the phone open at the bottom seam. If you have iFixit or other quality versions of these specific items, I'd use them if possible. I DID eventually get the phone open, and the replacement is pretty straightforward from there. The replacement flex cable is essentially the same as OEM (minus serial numbers and some other minor visual differences), and testing the phone before putting everything together again- everything works, with the USB plug that I had destroyed being now nice and tight and headphone jack working perfectly with headsets etc.You may want to take the opportunity to clean the edges (and potentially inside, especially the headphone jack) of the phone up before you put everything together. You may also want to consider replacing the foam lining the bottom of the clamshell if you happened to destroy it while opening it up.Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the kit. It was well priced even just for the replacement piece, but it also includes a high quality driver that I'll be re-using. The only things that suck are the spudgers/guitar picks/suction cup, and if you need those for future projects I'd consider buying something higher quality from iFixit etc., but otherwise they're adequate (barely) for doing one repair on the phone.

USB-C works, headphone jack doesn't
USB-C works, headphone jack doesn't. I tried with different headphones. But to be honest I can survive without headphone jack.

If you have the tools, this is perfect
As other reviews have said, the tools dont work for the replacement, but the charging port itself is absolutely perfect, dash charging works, headphone jack works, great part overall

Charges super slowly. Headphone Jack doesn't work. Doesn't provide data connection
I've installed this and a new battery on my phone since I wasn't sure if the issue before was only the cable or the battery too. This cable doesn't work as it should. The charging speed is slower than average. Probably works under 1Amp, like USB 2 charging speeds mad under. Doesn't work to connect my phone with my PC, so no data. Also the headphone jack doesn't work either.I've tried with 4+ cables USB C, that were previously tested with another OnePlus phone, and tested afterwards. So the problem is the flex cable.EDIT:Tested the headphone jack with several headphones, it doesn't work either. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. If I could return it, I would. Sadly I'm outside the US and not planning to return soon enough.
