Got for my daughter to have a safe slushie at home. Takes some time to make the slush but it worked good.

Product broke during second use
The first time I used this it made a decent slush, though not at all like a store-bought slushy. The texture was very smooth. It was hard to get all the slush out of the cup due to its design, but I figured for the price I wasn’t going to complain. However, while I was using the cup for only the second time the white rims both popped off the main cup. I thought I only needed to reattach them, but there was no way to do that without using glue, which I obviously didn’t want to do considering you eat from it. I was incredibly disappointed. I guess I’ll now have to go to the trouble of returning it. I don’t recommend this product.

IT’S A HIT!
I purchased this as an impulse buy a good 4/5 months ago but never opened the box. I’m pregnant so cold drinks are my thing and especially slushie type drinks. Recently I’ve been having a slushie a day. Last night, as usual, I wanted a slushie but didn’t want to drive to get one. Then I remembered the random cup I had bought and wanted to try it. I froze the cup overnight, I wasn’t sure how long it would take and wanted it to be really cold. When i pulled it out the freezer, i was surprised by how thick the cup felt. i was expecting something flimsy tbh with the concept of squeezing it and all. the instructions were straight forward but the drink suggestions were allll over the place. i took the suggestion of using a pop. despite the appearance of the cup, i could only pour in about 1/3 of the can at a time. this is def disappointing but also drags out the process of me demolishing my slushie so eh. anyway, after pouring it tells you to squeeze and you’ll have a slushie in minutes. well, it didn’t even take minutes! after a few squeezes you can see the drink start to freeze and like frozen pieces start to form. it’s amazing! this is my new favorite item. no more sending my boyfriend out to get me slushies when i can make one on demand, in seconds!bottom line: buy this. it works!

The tip of the spoon/straw that is included, is a waste. The spoon part falls off when you try to use it. The Inside of the cup seems fragile and probably best not to use a metal spoon. It's had to squeeze the cup and crystal form along the inside in crevices, it freezes hard and the center of the cup stays liquid..... not ideal. There is a ring on the top of the cup that holds the cup to the lid....it constantly falls off. Not nearly as nice as the hard plastic ones we had in the 70's. Fun idea and the colors are bright....doesn't work like I had hoped.
