Valuable and worthy
This hand pan works really great. It has a good tone and for its price it’s worthy and valuable. I have tried each notes on it with another help of an app (sound corset) to see if it’s tunable or not AND IT WAS. Even the golden color looks classic and beautiful. The case itself is good for carrying on. Tysm

Great Handpan
I purchased this handpan with low expectations. Having played music for over 40 years, my ears are quite trained, and I anticipated being disappointed. I initially bought it to see if I would actually use it, with plans to return it and spend over $3,000 on a higher-quality instrument if needed. To my surprise, I checked the pitch with a professional piano tuner and found all the notes to be spot on. The quality is very good; in fact, I couldn't find any flaws, such as scratches. The harmonics of this handpan are impressive. While the $3,000+ handpans may have better-organized harmonics, this instrument performs well. I watched several YouTube videos comparing this handpan to those that cost thousands of dollars. With my eyes closed, the sound was surprisingly close, and the difference was not significant enough to justify spending 25 times more. There are small hammer marks on the instrument's surface, similar to those found on expensive handpans. This suggests that each piece was not just mass-produced but carefully reviewed and fine-tuned, much like the pricier options. The case that comes with it is of high quality, and I highly recommend this handpan. I’ve decided to keep it and not pursue a more expensive instrument. While I can afford it, I don't see the point in spending extra. If you purchase this handpan, you definitely won't be disappointed.

Good, not great
Initial issues (because that's why you really read reviews). The handpan arrived quickly but the box was in poor condition and clearly opened before I received it. Interior package with sticks and cleaning cloth was also torn open so I suspect it was a returned item. The finish on the bottom (and to a lesser extent the top) was very uneven and damaged due being in contact with the cheap Chinese styrofoam. I tried cleaning gently but it didn't change. Also the styrofoam disintegrated on the edge of the pan and had to be scraped away. (See photos)Otherwise, the pan seems to be in tune (which was my first concern when I saw the condition of packaging and that it appears to have been returned in the past). The sound is clean for the most part with a slight bit of chatter in the highest note (#8) because it takes a pretty good pop to get it to sound. The durability of the tuning is to be seen and I'll try to update later if I remember.Overall though, knowing the cost of a great handpan can easily exceed 4 times the cost of this instrument, I'd say it's well worth the price. Even with the relatively minor cosmetic issues I'm still pleased with it overall.I don't recall if the listing said it, but the pan did arrive with a soft, padded carrying case and a stand.Take the time to buy one available through Prime so that it's easily returnable as I understand that arriving out of tune is not entirely uncommon.Lastly, I purchased this as an initial attempt to see if the instrument was something I would enjoy. I had no misconception that I'd be performing with this pan and feel it's an excellent pricepoint knowing that a more costly upgrade would possibly come later.

Great introduction to the handpan
I wanted to try the handpan for a long time, but didn't want to pay $2000 for something that wouldn't ship for months. I was excited to see this instruments finally available on Amazon. I was hesitant because they are so much cheaper than other models, but decided that with the return policy, I had nothing to lose.I'm so glad I purchased one! It came with a great little stand, a polishing cloth, some mallets (if you want to play LOUD), and a pretty decent padded case. It was packaged well, looks great and sounds great. I'm impressed. I'm also glad that I got the one with 10 notes (9 plus the middle ding). It just gives you more versatility for not a lot more money. A few YouTube videos later, and I'm making music.Cons? Not really. The highest two notes have to be hit just right for them to ring out, but it's very possible this is my technique and not a quality issue. For this price point, I have no complaints. If you've been wanting to try handpan, I don't think you can go wrong with this one. Whichever one you choose to buy, make sure there is a return policy just in case you don't like it or it sounds out of tune. Other than that, I say go for it!

Well made & great value. Beautiful sound!
My daughter was over the moon excited and has been enjoying since Christmas her musical gift. Nice sound, well made and comes with a great well made bag to take for transport too. Definitely worth the money in my opinion!

Horribly untuned - unplayable.
I opened the box excitedly, appreciating the small stand and the nice bag for the handpan itself. I pulled it out, gently nestled it on my lap, caressed it gently, and began to play. Briefly. By the third note I was recoiling from how it sounded. I pull out my trusty tuner app on my phone, and not a single note is in tune. Several were so far out of tune they registered as the wrong note.I returned it within the hour. Not recommended at all.
