Pairing a long-reaching zoom with a high-resolution sensor, the COOLPIX B700 Digital Camera from Nikon spans a range of multimedia assets for both stills shooting and video recording. I bought this camera for my wife for Christmas and we have just had the opportunity to use it extensively. It takes some getting used to but the features that we have used are awesome. The macro is superb and the zoom is incredible. The definition is more than I hoped for. It is comfortable to carry and use. The placement of the shutter is a little inconvenient, but we are getting used to it. Taking it on a tour of Norway and Sweden in a few weeks and will update my review then. The wifi capability had the pictures on my phone and laptop before I could blink an eye.

A good all around camera
If you want to avoid carrying extra lenses this fill the bill. It has a lot of flexibility. It is a little heavy, but not compared to a camera with two extra lenses. It uses the same batteries as the Nikon Coolpix P900 so you have medium and long range zoom with one set of batteries and one charger on trips.

What a Disappointment
I bought this from Beach Camera for a trip to Germany. 3 days into my one week trip, the battery needed recharging, however, the camera would not charge it. PATHETIC, this should NEVER have happened, their refurbishing process should have certainly included testing to ensure the battery was able to be charged through the phone. And now I see that someone else ALSO had this same problem. I returned the camera after I got home, and it went smoothly, but that's small consolation for the missed opportunities while traveling. Nikon should be made aware that their products are being resold as "refurbished" but they don't completely work!

Wrong battery and doesn't work.
This is a fraud. Amazon should not let this vendor sell anything with Amazon’s name. The batter is wrong. No charger and it doesn't work at all. I have to spend another $300 to but the battery and make it work. No charger, no case, not in a box and wrong battery
