Joe says he hates playing acoustic guitars so he did an acoustic concert tour just to do it. The DVD features Joe with a great all star band of musicians. They play many of Joe's best songs in an acoustic format. A need to have for any Bonamassa fan.

I’ve been a fan of Joe’s since he was a teenager! I’ve seen this item advertised before but for some reason I was reluctant to order it. After I did, I kicked myself in the butt for waiting so long!!! I’m very familiar with most of Joe’s work and was happy to see a lot of his older material featured. The group he plays with are awesome and if you’ve never seen a person go to town on a cello be prepared to be impressed!! If you don’t believe me go straight to the song Woke Up Dreaming I think it’s the eleventh track. I’ve watched Joe grow up from afar and the first time I saw him was in San Francisco at the Fillmore opening for Peter Frampton and he only played for 45 minutes with no encore even tho the whole crowd was wanting more. He has become the consummate professional and the production of this video is awesome. Buy it now!!!

I've been a Bonamassa fan for years, and twice I've been to a live concert. But I never heard him play acoustic until buying this DVD.It's simply brilliant. The pieces are deeply introspective. They show an artist who has total mastery of the instrument, which allows him to explore other dimensions of sound and accompaniment. The musicians he picked for this concert are equally brilliant. Tina Guo stood out as someone who, by his own admission, pushed him "20 clicks north" of his comfort zone in a duo that's just stunning. Her use of the erhu was unexpected and spectacular.We should be fortunate that the acoustics of Carnegie "forced" him to use acoustic instruments, and I feel fortunate to have lived long enough to hear this recording.Buy it, watch it many times, think about what you heard. You'll be so happy that you did.

I enjoyed this disc a lot! Artists from all around the world getting together in unfamiliar settings with unfamiliar music but it all came together very well!

One of the best video concerts I have ever seen. Perfection in a Live performance. Wow!

All of Joe Bonamassa's DVD concerts are very well done. Joe is the Best!! The reason for only 4 stars is this DVD does not have much new in it. It is very similar to other Bonamassa DVDs I have. If you do not have his other Acoustic DVD then you might want to get this DVD. Personally I think the first one is the best.

Outstanding doesn't even begin to tell the tale of how wonderful this particular concert is. I'm a big Joe bonamassa fan. Seen him many times. This is the one that got away! Now I'm so glad I have it on DVD. Watch it all the time. Bought copies for friends. Everyone agrees 110%! The best.

I wish that I could get that special shaped dvd box that it used to come in because I,ll be the one that will care for it,I do so love j.b.s music he is creative .I did not get the fancy box that looks like the Vienna opera house just mister bonamassa,s delightful creations .However I,d still like thebox shaped .I realize cost.so hoe much more would that cost .as with or without. interested. Charlie.
