Absolutely beautiful Book!
Gorgeous book, great quality and sturdy. Haven’t used it yet as it’s for Christmas but the quality of the pages, pictures, and story are all amazing. I can’t imagine it won’t be loved!

Lovely Christmas book
A beautifully written and illustrated book. My children loved it, we read it tonight as I couldn't wait till nearer to Christmas. It'll be a staple in our book calendar- so many lovely flaps to lift. The only thing I wish, was that there was a Christmas day page

Great book
My wee one loves this book, however as its not really for her age (she got it around 1.5 years old), she ripped off most of the flaps.Might purchase a new one in a few years time as its really a nice boom

Beautiful
This book is Christmas Goals! Such lovely pictures, wow. Some flaps were a bit ill advised, even trying to carefully reopen them, I ripped one clean off. It is such a beautiful book though and funny for the kids as they find mice doing funny things throughout.

Almost Purrfect
As a cat lover, a Christmas lover and a massive fan of the Brambly Hedge, Foxwood Tales and Wind in the Willows (Inga Moore Illustrated version) books, I knew I had to have this when I discovered it. And yes, just to be clear, I bought this for myself - a fully fledged adult! I have a thing for this type of cosy, comforting beautifully illustrated animal books and this one does not disappoint. Each scene is meticulously created and I loved the thrill of searching for the little flaps (of which there are many) to uncover new treasures so I can only imagine how little kids might love this too. The book has sturdy hardback pages and I think it has a lovely antique looking cover.I docked a star for two reasons. One, I found you had to be very careful opening some of the flaps to not rip them and some proved very fiddly and did rip a bit on me no matter how careful I was. The other reason, as so many others have mentioned, I thought it was a pity the book ended on Christmas Eve. Surely the whole point was to get to and see Christmas Day so that felt like something had been missed.I don't want to end on a negative because this really is a beautifully illustrated book and the novelty of discovering all of the little images under the flaps is good fun. I recommend this book for little kids and big kids alike - anyone who has an appreciation of a talented illustrator and lovers of the Brambly Hedge/Foxwood series.Thank you for taking the time to read my review - I hope you found it helpful.

Wonderful and magical book
Kids spent several hours opening all the flaps. I bought several more and sent to my friends kids. Every one loved it. Excellent quality.

Covers 12 Days (not all of Advent)
Lovely book but I had bought it in lieu of an advent calendar and hadn’t realised it only covers the twelve days before Christmas and not all of Advent. Beautiful book though.

Cute Book
It has cute pictures. Some of the flaps were kind of hard to open for the first time. Before I showed it to my daughter, I went through the book and opened the flaps for the first time, so she didn't hastily rip them trying to pry them open. The book reminded me about some traditions I forgot about like the pomander and Christmas crackers.

AMAZINGLY CUTE
Wow the artwork is so cute and there are so many flaps to open on every page. It’s not an advent calendar just to be clear but it is a nice story with stunning illustrations.
