Silicone Potty Training Dog Fire Hydrant | Pee Training for Male Dogs | Petite 4" W x 7" H

This little red hydrant saved my walls and baseboards. It’s small but if you have a small dog it’s perfect. My dog weighs about 5 pounds and he loves lifting and doing his business. I own two of these hydrants. I stuffed them both with plastic bags so they don’t fall over. Great quality and easy to clean.

Works like a charm. Our little guy uses this hydrant on a reusable potty pad when he's left inside for awhile. Pricing is a little steep for a 7in tall hydrant. Shipping was OK and timely. Being 100% silicone makes it long lasting and easily cleaned.

Unfortunately I am not satisfied with this product. It's way to small for a medium size canine. It looks like a squeaky toy and for excessive chewers this is NOT recommended due to a potential choking risk and or intestinal blockage. This product is NOT recommended for its actual purpose which is to urinate on. So no I do not recommended this product.

We received the red hydrant yesterday. My puppy pit bull mix 6 months old (35lbs) used it right away. We had troubles with him peeing next to the indoor grass mat or partially on the grass partially on the floor. Since yesterday he peed only on the tray with the grass. He stands above the hydrant and pees on it. We are very happy. I had to correct him a couple times to not touch the hydrant since he was thinking it was a toy too. So far so good. I am so happy that I don't have to clean floors every couple hours. At the. beginning you definitely have to supervise the dog and teach him not to play with it. It is small and light. However the purpose of it is to have a marker for the dogs to pee and I don't think the size matters that much. It definitely was made for indoor grass pet loo.

Look wise, it gets 4 stars, but it was quite expensive for just a molded piece of silicone, so I gave it a 3 star rating. I also thought it would have a scent for dogs to want to pee on it, but it doesn't.Honestly, it's a hit or miss for our dog using the hydrant to pee on. He is paper trained and couldn't keep it on the paper, so I thought he would use the hydrant consistently if I placed it in the middle of the paper. Sadly, he doesn't. Hydrant is cute though!! We bought the gray.

The dog pees on it . That's a good thing .

Perfect for my male chihuahuas to "aim at" and, I think, they're too cute.
