I replaced the gauge in my 30 year old Generac generator. The old one popped out, this one popped in, and I was good to go.

Fit like a factory unit

Easy to install I put a little oil around the rubber fitting first. Didn’t seat right without oil. This is as good as the original fuel gauge. However I will say that the design is thought to read. I replaced it because the old one was so discolored I couldn’t read it at all.

- It takes longer to get the gauge out of the packaging than to remove and install it in the generator. I removed the old gauge by prying it out with a small blade regular screwdriver then wiggled the new one back in.- Another reviewer said to put some lube on the gasket which was good advice. I used a small amount Superzilla on the gasket and that did the trick.- Same price as ordering from Generac.

Direct replacement, works well. Would buy again
