Great machine Ideal for productivity, editing and a little gaming
I purchased this for editing video and photos mainly. As I had only 16gb of Ram and 500gb NVME I decided to upgrade both installing 32gb ram and 2tb NVME. For me personally this went without a hitch. If you are new to this I would suggest leaving to a professional. The rear cover is not easy to remove you will need spudgers and a suction cup. The NVME has a metal shield which can be bent or otherwise damaged so be extremely careful and don't rush. The ram again has a cover so be extremely careful. Each side of the battery there are powerful neudymiom magnets which have a tendency to fallout if you turn the unit over before replacing the rear cover take note of the red and black lines on the magnets and put back how they came out.The screen quality and pen performance are Magic and a great bonus. The keyboard has a backlight which is also extremely useful for me. Overall a great machine and future proof for a while highly recommend.AddendumThere are 4 screws located under the rubber strips about 1-2 inches from the ends of the strip. The strips are mounted on semi-rigid plastic so try not to over bend it and ensure it stays attached. The paint can be scratched very easily so the trick is taking your time and don't rush it.Use a suction cup on the middle edge of the side with 4 screws lift slightly and insert a guitar type spudger working from the centre to the edges. This is not a tutorial but a guide on how I removed the cover on my machine and a little advise on the pitfalls you may encounter. Hopefully you will find this a help.

FAN NOISE SOLVED - NOW BRILLIANT
As soon as I opened the box I could see this was a quality product. The laptop has a premium quality feel and a lovely tactile keypad. The majority of the case is recycled aluminum. I couldn't decide between the matt black or silver finish, but in the end, I opted for the silver and am glad I did as it's beautiful. The HP 360 15 comes with TWO power chargers, one to connect to the usual AC power input on the laptop but also another much nicer charger which has a USB C at one end, allowing you to charge directly via the USB C input if you wish. The USB version of the AC charger has a unque design allowing you to coil up the power cord neatly around the transformer. Very clever, and I've noticed DELL and Lenovo have an identical charger design. Now onto the laptop itself. I opted for the 8GB RAM version as it was on a special deal here on Amazon, and also because it's generally cheaper to upgrade the RAM yourself (and easy to do as there are lots of on line tutorials) then buy a laptop with more RAM out of the box. If you do install more RAM its possible to upgrade to a total of 32GB DDR4 (2x16GB) and thats what I will be doing in the coming weeks. Importantly, there are two RAM slots in the laptop so if you do decide to upgrade the RAM make sure you divide it equally across the two slots (i.e. 2x 8GB or 2x 16GB), otherwise both RAMS cannot be accessed simultaneously. The flip function is incredible and I occasionally use the laptop like a tablet computer. The laptop also comes with the silver pen and spare nibs, its the more expensive pen HP sell. The pen works brilliantly and charges via USC C and there's a charger lead in the box too.NOW THE LOUD FAN NOISEDespite loving this laptop my only annoyance (and it was a BIG annoyance) was the incredibly loud cooling fan which seemed to run on full speed almost continuously! I checked on line and it seems this has been experienced by many people. However, this is an easy fix. Firstly, make sure you have done all the windows updates, In my case there were several and these included a total of 3 bios updates, After youve done a windows update, restart the computer, then go back into the control panels and search for more updates, repeat until there are no more windows updates available. Finally, simply install the HP COMMAND CENTRE app on the laptop (available for free in the Microsoft windows store). Then in the HP COMMAND CENTRE app select to turn SMART SENSE on. This action controls the cooling fan perfectly and there are no more issues with the fan noise.I would definitely recommend the HP laptop.
