Purism Style- 4 inch Tall Glass Kerosene Oil Lamp Lantern (Set of 3)

I absolutely love these. They appeal to my nostalgic leanings towards a simpler time and are the cutest little old-fashioned, WORKING lanterns!!When I got my order there was a small chip in one of the basins, but the company was very good about replacing it, customer service is very friendly and easy to work with. I will not hesitate to buy them again.We live in a wintery climate where snow affects utilities, so I bought these to make power outages a little more “fun” for my kids (who also love them, but are not allowed to touch them—they get very hot very quickly...); however, now that I have them and have lit them, I’m seriously trying to think of an excuse to throw a party so I can show them off! These would be AWESOME table decorations for outdoor receptions/venues...definitely some steam punk potential as decorations or party favors. When they’re lit they have a warm, eerie glow if you’re after a haunted atmosphere. Or they’re just super cute and friendly little lanterns that your kids can bicker about which color is theirs during a winter storm :)I recommend using gloves when pouring the kerosene, and put the wick as far low as you can get it or the flame gets too high.Update: I just ordered these again as a present for my sister (she received them yesterday, January 6th 2020, and they all arrived in perfect condition. She loves them!

Yes they are very tiny but the size is cool. The big issue is that 2 of the three won't keep the globe on. They simply fell right off. Spent some time on each reworking all the tabs perfectly in order to keep the globes on. That's not the worst part though...THE FLAM ADJUSTER ON ONE OF THEM IS SO LOOSE THAT THE FLAME ADJUSTS ITSSELF OUT OF CONTROL WHEN IT GETS HOT.They are so poorly made that the brass is less than paper thin, so when it gets hot there is a ton of slack in the adjusting screw and the simple "heat rises" of the flame pulls the wick up on its own. 2 work fine but the one is wicked dangerous for someone who doesn't understand engineering. Basically these are decorative only. Be very careful!!!

When I bought these, I was looking for small oil lamps in case of a power outage. I wanted one for my bathroom and a couple for my bedroom. When I ordered these, I THOUGHT the base was 4 inches across. Well, they are actually 4 inches tall. They are tiny!! That's my own fault for not reading the description fully, so I won't take off any stars for that reason. They are adorable, though, and they work. They don't put out much light, but if you need a little light in the bathroom during a power outage, at least you'll be able to see what you're doing. It's like a tiny nightlight.

Okay... first, I paid almost twice what the current listed price is from the same seller. Second, the lamps are not just tiny, they are teeny, TEENY tiny. Like, teeny tiny oil lamps. I do like the colors, but the $12.99 price for the trio set is a darn sight better than $22.99 I paid for the same set (what can I say; most of Oklahoma was in an ice storm black-out and I needed some form of lighting that would outlast my dwindling candle supply). In its defense, I do like the colors, and they are actual, functioning oil lamps; thank goodness I didn't have to buy the wicks. :)

i bought these and didn't realize at the time how small they were, when I opened the package I thought wow these are tiny. i have several oil lamps of various sizes, the 2 i like to use a lot are smaller than an average size lamp. they turned out being around 7inch, these are really small at around 4inch. however they look good just about anywhere in the house because they are so small you don't really notice. i was really skeptical at the oil capacity at first because it doesn't look like it holds about a shot glass full, at about full flame height without smoke ( about 3/8inch wick height) they burned for a little over 3hrs. they also put off a surprisingly good amount of light for a small lamp. the price is a little steep once shipping is involved, but they are a neat little china lamp that does what its intended for. a bunch of these would probably be neat for a wedding or some other outdoor activity, or just to have around to keep in each room that isn't very noticeable.

I got these to use in my shop. I thought it would be nice to have a small flame when doing heat srink on electric wires. But I don't use them to afraid they will tip and catch fire. I definitely wouldn't use them in my house

I LOVE the little Kerosene Oil Lamps. It's cool they come in an assortment of 3 colors. They were a little smaller than expected, but I wound up liking that too. They add great charm to my home, indoors and out. I ordered two sets. I will probably order more. I can see them as being unique decor for an outdoor party, a wedding reception, or any special occasion. It's such a unique lamp. I don't think you will find something like this anywhere else.

Ordered these for my four sisters for Christmas but when they arrived they were way smaller than I expected them to be. They were only about 4-5 inches in height. They work very well as we used them several times during the winter when the electric went out. They produced good lighting at least enough to see to get around the house.
