Great product, but instructions wrong. If you're using the wood bolts, do NOT use a 1/4 inch pilot hole as suggested. It is too small and you'll snap the bolt. Most people should have a 5/16 bit. That is technically a bit large but great for this purpose. The bolt is long enough that it should hold 3 people.

This thing is rock solid and a great value. What I’d offer up, though, is that the pilot hole suggestion (1/4”) may be a bit small. I saw prior reviews talking about shearing the bolt and, based on the install effort it took me, I am not entirely surprised. After hitting the limit of what my drill could do, I decided to change to a 3/8 drive socket wrench (instead of my impact driver) so I could ease into it. I hit a point where I needed more leverage, so out came my breaker bar. And even that was tough, but ultimately successful.Better hardware might tolerate an easier install with an impact wrench/driver, but it worked for me as is.

The product is well constructed and looks to be very sturdy! I attached it to a main beam in my garage, it is very strong, and perfect for my TRX suspension system. I am 6'3" 225, and I am very impressed with how secure the mount is, I am completely confident in its ability to support me through all of my exercises. The only somewhat negative thing that I will say is that it took about 5 days to arrive, despite me being a Prime member, and the mount being fulfilled by Amazon.

These are sturdy and do the trick. They will not budge or falter for the task at hand. I’ve bought two for my yoga swing and one for my daughters hammock chair. I feel confident that these will stay secure and keep us safe. I would buy them again but I won’t have to unless we get another swing 😂

This anchor mount is quite large -- much larger than the TDK original mount. It looks strong and has the same design.

We have now used this for our calming pod and TRX bands. I did put stainless lag bolts in from a big box store, but the others seemed sturdy enough that came with it. I just wanted to be sure. It is very sturdy and even with me using TRX at 210 pounds it didn't hint at moving or breaking.

I got tired of using my TRX on the door and feeling like I was going to break something. I found this item to be great quality and a less expensive alternative to the TRX mount. As long as you have a stud finder, drill, and ratchet then this is easy to mount.
