The best your money can get. A brilliant piece of tech.
I have used it for a week and here is my review of it.I got it for Rs.12.5K on a normal day. It was delivered in a week. The products looked brand new except for a minor scratch which was only visible at a certain angle and I really don't mind the exterior at this price.Packaging was top notch with the mini pc firmly placed in a bubble wrap which is of extremely good quality.* What's in the box.- Mini PC - Dell Optiplex 3060- 65W - Dell Adapter (19.5V) (Barrel Plug Laptop Charger)* Specifications.- Intel Core i3-8100T (35W) (3.1Ghz, 4 Core, 4 Thread, Intel UHD Graphics 630)Out of the box, it was configured in a low-power mode of 25W (2.4Ghz) - You can change this setting in the BIOS and enable Intel Turbo Boost. I know the processor doesn't support turbo boost but this changes the base TDP of the processor to 35W.- 8GB Single Stick DDR4 RAM (1 Additional Slot Available). The RAM slot is under the fan. (See Image)- 256GB SATA SSD (Power SS1000) - Performance is good, I did a factory reset and copied 50+ GB of data into it and it stayed around 400MB/s which is very decent. SSD was brand new with almost no writes (SMART data shows around 30GB written in total). I have 6 SSDs including 1 PCI-E Gen 4 SSDs in total and I didn't find any issue with this one when compared. Boot time is 6 seconds with this one.You can also add a PCI-E Gen 3 drive on this one.- WIFI - Not Installed. A WIFI PCI-E slot is available in the motherboard but you would need an additional antenna and dell parts to install alongside the WIFI card. My suggestion use LAN or USB Wifi devices.- Speaker - A little 2W speaker which sounds half as loud as a mobile phone loudspeaker.- VGA - The unit I got has VGA as an option in the expansion slot which is a bonus.- Windows 11 Pro - Original - I tried factory resetting the devices for security purposes and Windows got activated automatically through the Internet. (Digital License)- MS Office Standard 2019 - Original (The seller Syntronic Official put the setup and keys in a folder inside D Drive). It was working fine at first but when I did windows reset, the setup threw an error, Luckily I was able to download a fresh copy of the setup using MS ODT (A little command line usage required) and that installed fine and registered nicely.- Heating - Don't bother, Under sustained full load (Monitoring by HWINFO64) it didn't exceed 65C with power max CPU power consumption as 22W (I think the remaining wattage is for GPU).- Video - 4k playback was smooth and 3 separate 4K streams were running nicely without issues.- Chrome - 20-25+ tabs were working smoothly.- Drivers - Windows 11 has all drivers installed already but I still went ahead with Dell Driver Updates and updated BIOS from it.

Value for Money - Good PC with daily task, with Issues.
This PC is definitely value for money. I bought this PC for coding and to be use as server.Performance is good. Most of programs work as expected. But for coding 8GB is not enough. I suggest to go for 16GB model.I received the model where only 1 ram slot was functional, 2nd ram slot is damaged. So it lacks upgrade as stuck with 1 slot.It came with drained CMOS Battery. So it always stuck on the BIOS page. After adding new battery, BIOS issue was resolved. It doesn’t came with outer shell nut to keep the PC closed. It didn’t came with WiFi. I had to get it local store.

Good one for proxmox
Writing this after 2 and half months. Working fine as of now. Thermals are okay. Windows 10 was installed but advertised as windows 11 but that's fine as original plan for using it as server for my proxmox cluster.Packing:Packing was excellent. Package is double packed. No apperent damages on the outerbox or inner box. Packaged in double partiioned soft foam pads. Both PC and power adapter were in good condition.Specs:1). Dell Optiplex 3060 Micro2). i3-8100T CPU with 4 core, 4 threads (No multithreading)3). 8 gigs of DDR4 2500MT (not sure of the brand but memory chips were from samsung)4). 250 gigs ssd Geonix Gold (never heard of this brand)Replaced 8 gigs memory with crucial 16 gigs 3200MT DDR4 memory. But i've kept ssd but added crucial p2 in nvme slot and setup as zfs mirror of both drives to see how long it survices. With zfs mirror, if this breaks, the other one would keep working without any failure or lost of data. Proxmox install was without any hickups.Few other reviews i've read wrote, they received pc with locked bios. But mine don't have lock but recevied with dead CMOS battery. Other nodes in the cluster complaning about no connection to the node. After investigation i've found that with any powerloss, system bios going back to factory defaults and no time setup and hangs there expecting someone to press button. With no keyboard or monitor attached, it took good half an hour to figure out the issue. Replaced the battery and No issue after that. Will update the review if've any.Update on 24th Dec 2023: it's been 5 months and ssd died overnight. so much for S.M.A.R.T. It took my whole network with as this was my primary server hosting bind9 dns server. Luckily i was using mirrored disk with another ssd. all i had do was replace with another disk and it took couple of days to sync the disks but it's back online.
