I am only giving this 5 stars because anything else does not contribute to raising the rating under Amazon's methods and it is a good option for many people but it is far from perfect. It did effectively color my hair with as predictable of results as you can get when using something like henna. It took far less effort to mix and less time having to sit around with it on my head than previous products I used.The henna and indigo premixed products I used in the past would still be extremely obvious 6+ months later after a single application even if my hair was washed daily with shampoo. This faded within the month, is not noticeable within 2 months, and I didn't use any shampoo numerous days in a row during that time. It might be easier and faster per use but it will take far more frequent and numerous applications to get the same results. That also leads to a much higher cost.If you can't find the longer block of time at once that some other henna and indigo options require then this can work when spread out over shorter but more frequent dyeing. If instead you have less potential days to apply dye but more hours on a specific day you can devote to it then products that take longer but really are permanent within 1 or 2 applications would be more cost effective and have less trouble maintaining the same color. This product could also work to improve or alter color after applying something that is longer lasting but I'm not sure how long the hair would remain the preferred color if you combine it with other options.

I like the way it gives a rich color without all the harsh chemicals but it leaves Hair dry and brittle. Must do a deep conditioner to bring back lustre

I've been using this henna for a while now. I love it bc it makes my hair healthier and shiny. I like how it makes my greys look like I have highlights. However, for those who want to completely cover their grey hair you need to get Light Mountain Color the Grey and trust me it works.

It was pretty hard to apply, I wouldn't recommend doing it by yourself. Smells pretty foul, but I can't argue with results. It said on the box for my color "slight change". I did three hours and now have a slight red undertone and it's a shade darker, exactly what I wanted.

I LOVE the mahogany color! I have used several different shades of light mountain and this one was by far my favorite! I have a few grays on top that got covered and is the perfect neutral brown color. I always love how my hair looks and feels after using Light Mountain henna and this time was no exception! I added ginger and chamomile tea to the henna and processed for 2 hrs.

Works very well. Very fast

I put this on a strip of my hair for an hour and it did nothing . No color at all . Waste of time and money lol . I’ll stay with my Madison Reed .
