I bought 3 of these to replace an IKEA pegboard, with plastic pegs. The pegs used to bend a little and I would occasionally scrape my fingers on them, hence this replacement. Positives: sturdy, stay in place well, look good, don't hurt fingers! Negatives: could be a little deeper. Instructions say max 12 plates. I have piled over 20 on, so above the level of the sides, still keeps them mostly in place. Also takes up a little more space in the drawer than the pegboard, but managed to jiggle things around. They are a little expensive for what they are, but they are quality.

These are very sturdy (and expensive) holders. They work beautifully in my pull out drawers, and have rubber grips on the bottom to keep them from sliding. That said, trying to lift out the holder from the drawer and carry it to the table can be very risky. If you are not carrying it absolutely level, the plates will slip out of the holder and crash to the floor! Not willing to risk losing my lenox, so I hand carry the plates from the drawer to the table.
