ZoegaSkanerost - Dark Roast Ground Filter Coffee - 450g

Love this coffee- it's just the right darkness... no "citrus" which I dislike in a brew. I have made it in a drip coffee maker and in just a filter over a cup. Always awesome- so smooth. Even my 10 year old says it's especially yummy coffee! (she wishes I'd let her drink a cup!) I lived in Helsingborg where this company began and smelled it roasting as I biked to school in 1985... and until then had never enjoyed (American) coffee. Got back home after a year of Zoega's and never found coffee I wanted again... until years later when I discovered that small Californian roaster that is now in supermarkets. (Peet's) But now that I can get this on line, they have some stiff competition! YUM!! I don't have coffee every day- don't want the caffeine- but this is a treat I find a way to have as often as possible! Thank you internet...

My Swedish cousin brought me some of this when he visited the US a couple months ago, and I just loved it. I was so pleased to find it online! It's very dark but mellow, and isn't bitter at all. It's lower in caffeine than other dark roasts, but it's so good, you don't notice. It's quite a treat after some of the brands out there!

I like this coffee and usually bring it with me from Sweden where it costs about $4 per package. Here they charge 3 to 4 times as much, which seems excessive to me.

It's strong. Real strong. I've tried so many coffees and anytime I can get a hold of Swedish coffee I buy several at a time. If you love blackest black coffee this is for you.
