Middle of the road powder, blueberry is so-so
So I am slowly working my way through every protein powder sold on Amazon, at least sold in 3lb+ tubs, just to get a sense of what's out there. Been doing it for almost ten years now. I have just one scoop, six days a week, usually w/ 5g creatine and ~10g psyllium husk fiber. I don't have a lot of mass, I'm ~5'10 and 183, not a body builder, just staying fit. This powder - Maxler 100% Golden Whey Protein - is solidly middle-of-the-road. Decent protein content, no protein bitterness, no gastrointestinal issues, okay consistency. I've had better, I usually say Isopure Zero is my preferred supplement, but if you just want a decent protein powder for maintaining bulk, this is probably a good choice. This sort of powder will smell if you don't wash your shaker well, so be sure to do so, and give it a spray of rubbing alcohol, both the cap and the cup. Should keep things clean.Flavor-wise - this is the first time I've ever purchased a fruit-flavored powder, I went for the blueberry because, you know, YOLO and all that. It is as expected - synthetic and overly sweet. I don't hate it, I intend on finishing the powder, but I don't think I'd recommend it either. Just basic vanilla or chocolate seem to be the best way to go, at least for me.So would recommend as a decent maintenance powder.

Great value and great taste!
After getting a lot of Facebook ads for Instagram protein powders in a blueberry muffin flavor, I became obsessed with the idea. As a vegetarian who does HIIT and boot camps daily, I’m always looking For a good protein powder to help me hit macro goals. I’d been sticking with the Isopure Toasted Coconut for awhile, but I was starting to get bored. While those insta proteins get great reviews, I’m always hesitant to spend $50 on 25 servings of protein without knowing if it’s going to make me feel bloated or have a terrible texture. I looked around amazon and found a few other options, but picked this one because of (a) the good reviews, (b) the macros, and (c) the price, which was a super affordable, so not a dramatic sunk cost if it sucked. I wasn’t disappointed. The blueberry muffin flavor is sooooo good, and mixes well with almond milk or skim milk, and even plain Greek yogurt! The texture is good even in a shaker bottle. I can’t wait to try the pecan ice cream (sounds so good!) and cappuccino flavors. If they’re as good as this one, I’ll be happy to have so much new variety in my protein shake collection.

Needs more coffee but tastes great
It's a pretty good price for 2 pounds. I believe I've bought this brand in the past and it was banana's and cream and it was delicious. Cappuccino seemed like it would have more of a rich flavor so I decided getting that. Now I won't say it actually tastes like cappuccino but it's flavor is pretty comforting. It's like a chocolate ginger bread. There is too much vanilla flavor hints to be coffee but it does say it has coffee in it. However, no where can I find the caffeine amount it. It'd be nice to have a caffeinated protein drink for when i don't want to drink a separate protein drink. I think the best part is that it mixes well. I don't have to spend an hour shaking it even with a professional bottle blender.

YOU NEED THIS PROTEIN!
This stuff tastes AMAZING! I was kind of skeptical because of the price point and I’ve tried many “dessert” flavors before and have been very disappointed. This tastes like a dessert in a cup and is healthy too! It mixes completely and doesn’t have any clumps, so it’s super smooth. I would honestly say that this protein is better than the $50 ones I’ve tried. It’s also a pretty purple color when mixed. The photo shows bubbles at the top but it doesn’t taste bubbly or chalky like others that typically have foam at the top, such as vegan protein. I also mix it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and that makes it even smoother! Get this, you won’t regret it and will never buy an expensive protein again!!

My Go-To (when the price is right)
I lost a lot of weight when I went back to school and even more during quarantine. This year I've been building my body back up and MAXLER has helped me along the way!I usually mix a scoop with an afternoon smoothie, and I love how soluble it is! No issues with clumping or getting dry lumps. Sugar content is good too, not too sweet and the rich chocolate is nice by itself or in a blend. Never had any stomach issues and it's helped me retain energy after my workouts.I've seen the price fluctuate so it's hard to review affordability. On sale it's a great bang for your buck - when the price hikes there's definitely better brands in that range.
