Use for keylime pound cake coloring. Excellent!

My best friend’s son requested a lime cake for his birthday. The recipe I had was OK, but needed a bit more oomph of lime flavor, so I bought this and it was perfect! Not only did I use it in the cake, but I added it to the cream cheese icing too. There was no mistaking the lime flavor. It wasn’t too strong nor did it cause any kind of aftertaste. It delivered exactly the vibrant lime flavor I expected. I couldn’t have been happier with the result.

McCormick's has always been good. I'm pleased with this flavor, as with all of them.

I used to be able to buy this in the market but no more. The only thing I have used the lime extract for is my homemade Greek yogurt. About seven drops in a small bowl of plain Greeked yogurt plus a couple of swirls of Attika Greek honey with its naturally wild-growing thyme and wildflower so prevalent in Greece, also available on Amazon, and you have an amazingly refreshing AND tummy soothing bowl of healthy protein-containing goodness. May be an acquired taste for some, but if sold in stores, I have a feeling it would be obnoxiously expensive. The only thing that comes close is fresh squeezed lime juice, which normally I would prefer to any extract except it would thin out the yogurt. IMHO this is a really nice extract.
