This design could be made more flexible.
This is poorly designed the idea is good. Mounting screws external and the hole diameter is too little. The inside and outside could be designed as a bulk head having a adjustable 6 inch plastic pipe. I am just suggesting. Also the flap did not have a pivot mount pin or shaft.

Not to choose.
Very bad product and very bad packaging. First one delivered with broken lid. I returned and got a similar broken one.
