Quality shoes
I buy Merrell Moabs because I am a fat trucker. They are really comfortable and take the weight of my obese body on a daily basis. I live in them. I use them for work, rest and play. They last me a good year n the only signs of wear are on the sole. Once the laces are tied that's it. I use them as slip ons and there is a nice big loop on the heel that take my well endowed if I was a lezbian fat finger. They also breathe so exude sweat m stench and keep your feet cool. They are not water proof as I test them frequently by peeing standing up n drenching them in willy dribble. They are so comfortable, durable and good quality for your money

Fish : the moab 3.
I have in recent months bought merrell moab2 and moab3 ,(ventilated) walking shoes. They are both excellent, very comfortable and pretty hard wearing, and well made, the size uk9 has been spot on. Okay, now the which is better, this is quite an easy answer: its the merrell moab3, because it has a far better insole, it really does feel like ur wearing a very special pair of slippers, the heal fits better, there is a wider toe box, and the sole is more flexible. Merrell moab2, these have a harder wearing sole,(300mls to 350mls) compared to the moab3 (280mls to 320mls), moab2 is a tighter fit around the sides of the foot, slightly looser on the heal fit, and tighter on the toes ! The moab2 will last a little longer under average to heavy use ! But, the moab3 is just so wonderfully comfy from the first time u put them that a little bit less mileage ! Is not really a terrible thing . Both of these shoes are not very good on wet wooden surfaces such as decking or old wooden bridges, But ! Having owned various makes of walking shoe,(keen, salmon, merrell, and even nike) unless u are paying around £250/£300 ! No standard walking shoe is very good on “wet wood” , Excellent Shoes for less than £70, these are not the waterproof moab’s !

Comfortable for wider feet
This is the third pair of these shoes I have bought. They are comfortable straightaway and do not need to be broken in, even for my feet which are wider than average. I have yet to test this pair in heavy rain but my feet were dry in drizzly conditions.I bought them in the colour pistachio and given the name and the picture I expected them to be more green rather than the mousy brown colour they are.

Comfortable!
The most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, straight out of the box. Nice, wide toe box, good traction and support.

Quite comfortable and they shape themselves to the feet in them after a while.
Not much I can say about walking shoes, unless they're really bad. These ones are very good and give me a good experience over pavements and country hillsides, e.g. the Downs in Sussex.
