Watkins Soup and Gravy Base, Chicken, 19 oz., 1 Count

This is great chicken flavored base. It is a dry powder and can store in your cupboard. I have had this for a couple months and it does not clump like some other powders do. I use this in anything and everything ( almost). Soups, stews, gravies, cooked veggies, pasta, shredded meats, hamburgers, and of course when I want a hot cup of chicken broth . This is less salty than some I have used and tastes much better . NO MSG or artificial flavors , and no yellow.red dyes! Don't let the price sway you, you will get so much use out of this. One of my go to comfort meals is some al dente pasta, drained then melt some butter on the pasta and sprinkle a teaspoon of this. LOTS of ground pepper and stir well! YUM!

I was hoping for a dry wonderful chicken base replacement, but this didn't quite meet my expectations. It is good but I wanted authentic chicken taste, and this was a little shy of that. Not much but a little shy.

This chicken soup base is surprisingly good. I love the value of it in comparison to another popular chicken base and it is far superior in my opinion in taste and the seasoning of it. I've been using it in many things, soup, and even chicken salad. It's super easy to use and it dissolves very quickly in liquid. I like that it's mostly natural ingredients as well, sometimes in these powders there are added ingredients that are allergens to me and this one doesn't have any. I don't worry about the shelf life because I will use it abundantly.

Product met my expectations. I use it for a lot of home cooking. It’s little expensive, but worth it.

I used to be able to find this locally, but can't any more. I have purchased this many times over the years and it is a great product. Really adds flavor to soups and gravy.
