Each capsule contains 90% (180 mg) honokiol+magnolol in a 1:1 ratio, thereby providing 45% i.e. 90 mg each of honokiol and magnolol. This seems like a good ratio of the two. Had there been much more honokiol, the product could've risked being sedating, at least during the first few days of its use. As it stands, the product is not sedating at all, right from day one. It can in fact be slightly stimulating in a GABAergic sense that is entirely opposed to the stimulation caused by something like caffeine. As such, you'd never want to use it for sleep; it'll harm sleep. So if sleep is what you want, you're better off with valerian and hops.The product helps take the edge off. I still haven't opened up to using it during the workday, but it's perfect for evenings. Tolerance does happen, so one can limit use to a couple of times a week.

Unknown again about hoe much Honokiol I get---which is the key ingredient I am looking for. Company hides this by adding Magnolia Extract to the Honokiol amount thus hiding it. Is it 10% 40 % who knows?

Been using this product for quite awhile for anxiety and mood. It helps a great deal due to it's 90% honokiol content. Standard magnolia bark does not contain anywhere near this percentage and it makes all the difference. This brand is the most effective and affordable I've found at a high percentage of honokiol, and the bottle lasts a long time. Highly recommended! I take 1-2 per day and it takes the edge off without causing drowsiness or that "loopy" feeling that many anxiety products do. Absolutely no side effects. Great remedy and excellent product.
