The Perfect Size!
This was our first time to have an exotic parrot lay eggs. We were told when we purchased the bird that it was definitely a male so imagine our surprise when the "male" suddenly laid 4 beautiful little eggs without the benefit of a mate!! We were shocked. I didn't know much about raising the chicks so I decided to remove the real eggs about 3 weeks after she laid them and substitute these artificial eggs. I hoped it would all work out and our beautiful Alexandrian Parrot would be happy and healthy. The most worrisome detail was the egg size since she was very accustomed to sitting on her natural eggs. I actually purchased 2 sets of eggs but this set was perfect for our beautiful bird. She continued to sit on the nest until she began losing interest in the whole thing. When we took the "eggs" away, she went back to her normal happy self. Perfect first time experience!

i think they are ok, bigger than i anticipated..
they are a bit larger than i was expecting, for a conure egg, but they will do nicely for my caiques
