Purrrfect - Protects my Kitty!
We are new kitten owners and after exploring the second floor of our home, our kitten got ready to jump off the staircase which is about 20+ feet down. We bought this product and have never had an issue since installing it. She is not even interested in the staircase anymore. The plastic seems pretty durable. It is also super easy to install and the kit comes with a hole puncher and ties. It also looks much better than using gates, plexiglass etc. and a lot cheaper. From a distance you can barely notice it on your bannister. LOVE this product!

This saved my life!
The media could not be loaded. We recently moved to a condo where a staircase is involved with a two-year-old and it was an amazing buy. It looks so sleek. You can hardly tell it is there i couldn’t recommend this product enough definitely get one for our balcony outside as well 5stars! Such a safe feeling knowing this is there

This is excellent
I bought this because I am getting 2 kittens and I do not want them falling off the railing onto the stairs below, it's a long fall. Therefore I had to install it at floor level so they couldn't sneak under the railing. You'll need two people to install. I initially put it up with the zip ties that came with it but that looked really bad. So I bought some different size black zip ties. The hole puncher worked okay around the edges but I also wanted to secure it in other places so I used a razor blade to make little slits to slip small zip ties through. You almost can't even tell it's there. I took one star off because I think they should send black zip ties since the majority of railings are black. Overall it's a great product.

Great for cats and outdoor balconies
Keeps curious cats safe and no climbing danger with nets! Also, no obstructions of our view. We replace the plastic guard once a year because the zip ties and plastic degrade over time from seasonal weather. The weak points in the plastic (where the zip ties attach) break more easily after a year outdoors since the plastic loses its flexibility/is more rigid. So, when the wind picks up, these points break apart, thus signaling to us that it's time to purchase another roll. Usually holds up for a year of extreme heat/humidity/rain/wind and dry/freezing temps/snow/wind. Be sure to zip-tie every 12 inches (top and bottom) for maximum stability. Happy with the purchase. We also purchased dark brown zip ties separately to blend in with our dark brown railings. The clear plastic zip ties stand out and look cheaper.

Great alternative to nets
We took down nets and put these up and it looks so much better! You can obviously still see them because of the light reflection but these will be up for years bc of toddlers and I won’t be embarrassed of our stairs anymore. easy to install too
