Beard Balm for Men, Nourish and Soften New Beard Growth and Short Beards

Went to a highend barbershop. They used this product. 5 months later I'm still using it daily. Great smell and no beard flakes. No rash. No irritation.

I absolutely love the smell of this balm. Lightly scented and does not leave a greasy feeling. Seems to moisturize without clogging up the pores. Came well sealed in the box. Seems like a lot for a bottle but it goes a long way.

This is the first beard lotion/balm I've ever tried. And it is very soothing to the skin under my beard. Also, the scent (wood & spice) is excellent. I can't say enough about the product.However, the glass bottle and plastic cap are exceedingly lacking. I cannot get the cap to securely tighten on the bottle. I twist it clockwise until it is tight. But, the cap backs off after I let go. When I go to pick it up again, the cap is loose!Took it on a trip with me. And fortunately I put it in a plastic zip up bag. The product leaked out into the back during the trip. Very disappointing.If you are not worried about it drying out, which I don't think it will, it is fine to sit on your bathroom vanity or medicine cabinet shelf. But, it is not travel-friendly. For this reason, I have to take away one star from a perfect 5 rating.

I decided to give this a try based on their Shaving soap.I am glad I did.This, while on the expensive side, is worth it.Very pleasant scent (like old time barber as others have said). Wood and Spice.The scent is noticeable, but not overpowering and lasts through the day.It mellows through the day, but is still there at day's end.I wouldn't recommend cologne on top of this thoughAs far as balm factor, it definitely softens the initial beard growth and takes away that itch factor.Helps the hair lay down and keeps it under control as it grows.I think I will continue to use this even after the initial stages.Definitely a noticeable difference in beard softnessAs someone else said, I wish it didn't have the plastic cap on the glass bottle, but that's a small complaint, not enough to remove a star for.If you like the Proraso shaving soap, give this a try

This is an excellent product to put on your beard after your daily face care. Makes your beard feel very nice and it rubs/combs right in. Makes your face feel great. Highly recommend this product!!

I bought this before Proraso red aftershave was easier to find and it was the closest to their sandalwood scent, albeit more woodsy/earthy. I figured that since it was good for a new beard that it wouldn’t hurt on clean shaven skin- and I was right. You don’t need much, but it smells great and lasts, even with a small quantity. So even as an aftershave balm, 5 stars.Based on the smell and texture, I ran it through my hair rather than my typical goo this morning to see if it would tame my post shower cowlick. Worked like a charm- just the right amount of hold without any crispiness or oily/greasy texture. Everyone’s hair is different, but when your hair looks good (such as it is, work with me here folks), and you don’t have competing scents on your noggin, that’s a small life win.I’ve seen some remarks about the scent being too strong, and with all personal products and body chemistries, your mileage will always vary, but a pro tip with any Proraso product is that less is more.

When using, less is more.The smell is very strong. Too strong initially. Thankfully it becomes reasonable not too long after using. But I’d have preferred a more subtle scent.Not sure if I will buy again.Initial impression was that I’d send it back. But after using less product and letting it air out after using, it’s decent enough.If I had a larger beard and needed more product, I probably couldn’t use this.
