Love it
Comfortable grip, could be sharper, thin blade, looks cool, and is durable.

Well designed modern saber.
Very well made and designed saber made from modern flat stock. I appreciate how United Cutlery tapered the width of the blade towards the forte to mimic the distal taper present on a saber forged from a billet. Not much opinion either way on the hilt, but then again I'm not a real fan of period p-guard hilts, its functional and works. The blade has a proper saber temper (some flex) so it shouldn't take a "set" too easy. The blade comes sharp enough. I always like to cut with my blades and for me this preformed just fine with the standard saber drill cuts on some gourds. This also comes with a fully functional nylon like material scabbard fitted with a belt loop and reinforced with rivets and PU material.Stats on my blade: length of blade 29.5", thickness of blade 3mm (no taper), point of balance 8 1/4" from hilt, weight of blade 786 grams. No "cons" as far as I can tell, the price is right and the design pretty clever on how they handled the transition to modern manufacturing methods/materials, if you are looking for a functional saber at an affordable price the Combat Commander Saber is a solid pick.

Good Sabre
This is a practicable sword. The construction is solid. Its also very light and easy to maneuver. I think it could be balanced a little better, but its pretty good as is.Edit:The balance of this sword is far from the hilt. It makes it into a hacking device in which case, might as well get a machete or gladius.Still stands that this thing is super cheap, so still better for home defense than a baseball bat without reaching for a gun.

Get what you pay for.
The edge alignment is terrible. The tang is... well... not good. The button fixture on the sheath was stupid tight, didn't fit, had to use some crazy strength to actually get it to snap closed and the snap has started leaving a terrible mark/cut on the handle. You get what you pay for in this case.

Great sword
Great sword!! A bit heavy at first, but that is extremely normal for sabers as they are wielded with one hand. I did a strength test with a dummy that has a head that has the density and hardness of a human head and it sliced straight through that thing with no problems. For comparison I have multiple Spears that I've thrown at that head and had them bounce off, I've hit it with decent swords and seen them break completely or ruin the blade, and I've even shot my crossbow at it for target practice and if not hit absolutely right they just bounce off (unless I put on bear or mooserazor hunting arrows heads). But surprisingly the combat Commander saber had no problems cutting through this. The thing is definitely ready to go out of the box, if you are not well educated and sharpening swords I suggest you do not touch the blade. Especially if you have an electric sharpener or a belt sharpener, do not ever use either on your sword!

A proper saber
I love it.The balance will take some practice to get used to.Feels very sturdy, really like the grip too.Definitely worth the cost and then some.

Battle Ready & Beautiful!
This sword is a beast! It is solid and well balanced. You could literally go to war with this weapon without worry of damage from heavy repetitive impact! I am impressed with the craftsmanship and quality for the incredible price of this sword. It comes well oiled and extremely sharp, ready for battle!

To be blunt...
Arrived as dull as the butt end of a butter knife. A negative edge on a pool is cool. On a saber it engenders 7 strands of nope and an immediate return.
