Super Simple
Excellent product, although the plastic is slightly flimsier then I expected or would have preferred. Even so, it was really easy to get it nicely set up to replace my missing IO shield and is a solid replacement.

Pretty simple, pretty decent.
Pretty easy to cut, took me about 10 minutes with the added cutters. Didn't fit the case the best, took a bit of fiddling. Definitely beats not having an io shield, though. I'd recommend this to anyone who lost their io shield and is just looking for a quick fix.The reason this isn't getting 5 stars is just because it doesn't really snap into the case right like a normal io shield. Still a great product.

Poor quality
I wouldn't waste your time with this product, the sheilds were flimsy and didn't fit in the case. Tje only thing of value in this kit was the snips. Would not buy again

Nice idea, hard to use
This product is a great idea so I have it a shot to create the cutouts for a lost io shield. I tinker with computers all the time and really enjoy it, though this project was quite unenjoyable. The top line is if you’re looking at this product you should set expectations that you’ll need at least one shield to burn for the first attempt. Once you get an idea how to make the cuts and line up the holes needed, you’ll have a decent shot at doing it a second time. The problems I ran into even for the second attempt was figuring out how to line up the shield and motherboard so I knew where it needed to be cut when the board was fully mounted. This was the frustrating and unenjoyable part. The problem is you may not be able to install the motherboard in the case until the shield is cut and it’s difficult to know where to cut until the motherboard and shield are aligned when installed.I’d recommend to take out the case mounting screws, toss in some cardboard shim with a similar height and position the motherboard in the case as close to the installed IO shield as possible while laying flat. Go slow, create a single small cut towards the top—maybe not the actual top—of a larger port, take the MB and shield out, install the standoff screws and motherboard and see if the shield aligns okay from outside the case. Shift where you were going to cut in the grid accordingly if not.My second attempt came out okay but due to the cuts needed close to the edges it ended up becoming flimsy and doesn’t look great in my opinion compared to a traditional shield. The positives are the shields and trimming tool are pretty nice overall, 4 out of 5. The downside is the difficulty and outcome. These things are pretty expensive to need to practice on.But hey, maybe this is just not for me and others will have an easier time or just simply be better with it. At the end of the day I have an alright shield in place that looks better than having left it open. I’d much rather have a proper shield given the option, this doesn’t even come close in my mind. I do appreciate the DIY aspect of this idea and product.

Used in unorthodox way.
Used to clean up my xtia pc build. Worked out better than expected and fit perfectly. Since they are plastic, I didn't have to worry about scratching the anodized aluminum.

Great I/O shield
It helps sooo much. It fits perfectly, the pliers were great and everything was easy to use. I had bought a new PC case but my old case didn't have an I/O shield I could transfer over. This was truly a life saver.

Not bad
It’s ok if your in a pinch and need something but it’s not tight fit on all cases. We had to improvise with black tape
