Machine was easy to assemble and the rake roller was easy to install and set for depth.In use the results are outstanding with vast quantities of moss and thatch removed with ease.The only downside is the risible collection bag,so small that it was better to leave it off and collect the rubbish afterwards or you're stopping and starting all the time.The machine is fairly light and the power cord easily seen and avoided.In short a delight to use,giving a great result for minimum effort at a sensible price.

Worth every penny. I hate assembling anything that requires assembling. But this machine came with such clear instructions, I actually enjoyed putting it together.I had already mowed my lawn, and I was not prepared for the amount of thatch that came out of my lawn. It propelled itself along and had enough power for my mid-size lawn. The thatch filled a brown bin and a garden bag. It came with the scarifier and rake attachment. The description wasn't entirely clear on this. I tried the machine on various levels. Many people comment on the collection bag being too small. I kept the collection bag on and the large bin near so i could keep emptying it. I found this eaier than raking everything up at the end. The Hyundai is more than sufficient. I can get on with reseeding.The 3 year warranty gave me the reassurance and the edge over a few other machines that I was considering.Great machine!

Brilliant little scarifer. Used it on my lawn 10m x 10m. I had really thick moss and under growth. I did not use the collection bag (mopped up moss etc. with rake and then used a lawn mower, much easier). Did the job perfectly. Well worth the money. I could not have removed the moss with a manual scarifier. I used the scarier and the rake - easy to install too. Highly recommended

Light enough to carry. Easy to use. Loads of moss removed even though I didn't think there was that much. Most doesn't go into the basket so need to use a rake. But easy to do.

Does a good job with either the rake or scarifier and for the price I’ve no hesitation in recommending the machine. The collection box really is a waste of space though and should be offered as an optional extra for those who like plenty of exercise - thus reducing the price of the main unit perhaps. I’ve removed the spring from the rear flap and so moss and thatch is free to exit the machine easily without being held underneath and clogging it up. I’ve got the collection box on my garage wall now where it’s used for storage, so not all was lost.

Excellent - piles of thatch came out of our lawn. We used it first without the collection bag - used lower settings each time and then the bag went on. Lawn was left with small farrows for the next phase of moss and weed killer. Long way to go - but already looks so much better. Very quiet easy to use - it takes you for a gentle amble around the lawn. Just have somewhere ready to get rid of the thatch.
