YUMMY
I will warn you, this one is really spicy. I get other Bibimbap MRE's that are just rice, carrots, onion, the gochugaru sauce and sesame oil and I really like them. This has much more flavor if you are used to spicy food.If you are not into hot spicy Asian food, this may be a bit too hot for you. If you are however, you are in for a treat. It's filling, flavorful and great to enjoy. It also make a great filling for flour tortillas if you are looking for something a bit different.

Holy mother of pearl, the heat. The HEAT!
It’s pretty spicy. I like heat just fine, my partner not at all. It was on borderline of “I don’t enjoy the heat” for me, and across the border to inedible to my partner (again, she can’t handle heat very well).I do think they ought to warn more about the heat. Can you imagine going to the bathroom during the apocalypse after eating this? Feels like the screaming would attract zombies, or raiders, or the GOP, some sort of monster anyway that would find you and kill you while your bum was en fuego.Flavor was fine for dehydrated food.

Good amount of food and flavorful
The Bibimbap was full of flavor and had a good kick and was plenty of food.

Lacking flavor
Love the idea! But this one (bibbimbap ) had almost no flavor. Totally bland. The marinade was good tho! Loved that one

Too hot for an 11 year old
This one has a lot of spice to it but it isn't overwhelming. A dash of salt will go a long way but it has decent flavor. I'll buy more of this one even if it's only for me. Wish it was a little less pricey .

If you can’t stand the heat...
Double serving is right! 20 minute soak time is no joke and the texture was perfect when ready. Too bad it was so spicy 1) I couldn’t finish it; and 2) my trail gut told me it was a bad idea to try. Hope you like spicy! The portion and flavors were *chef’s kiss* perfection! Absolutely would try this brand again in a different flavor, but recommend this to anyone with greater fortitude of digestion.

disgusting: chewy and VERY spicy, and does not taste like bibimbap
I like spicy food, or at least thought I did. this knocked my socks off. I was on an 8 day backpacking trip and this was my very last meal, and I had no other food and was extremely hungry. I was super looking forward to this as I have eaten Bibimbap many times and enjoy it. I made it for lunch and I literally could not eat it because it was so spicy. I let it sit for an hour hoping time would mellow the spice, but it did not. Also, it there is something in it that remains chewy like a stick. And it didn't even resemble bibimbap in taste. I'm not kidding when I write that I was starving, had no other food, and still threw this out and was hungry until dinner. Many of the GOOD TO-GO brand foods are very tasty, but this is a complete miss.

Great taste and very filling
I bought a variety of brands of food for my last backpacking trip (previously only used mountain house) and this was one of my favorites. The flavor was great and it was actually kinda spicy. Also very filling for a meal with no meat. I almost couldn’t finish it.My only complaint was the amount of time it took to cook, but it’s honestly worth the wait for food this good. Just start it when you get to camp and let it cook while you set up!Im definitely going to try their other meals on my next trip.
