If you’re just beginning, please study the manual and read up or watch pros and learn how to detect and skip over junk as opposed to treasure. Once the learning curve is straightened out, you’ll be skipping junk and pocketing more valuables. Uses multiple frequencies, and was able to detect 5 mg gold flake, but don’t count on it for that. This is largely a coin and jewelry detector. Great depth detection. BT headphones are medium tier but are a nice value with all else.

Having metal detected for over 30 years, I bought this last summer. Ultimately detectors are just computers and if you have an old one it is probably time to replace it. This is a monster detector with the maximum features at a reasonable price. The large coil and the customizable programs makes all the 'hunted out' places new again. There is a bit of a learning curve because every setting you change affects good and bad targets. If you only want a coin shooter machine the cheaper and lighter simplex ultra is probably the way to go. This has features most people will never use.

I'm no expert so I checked reviews before I settled on this one. It did not disappoint! Found a buddies septic tank for him yesterday with it, but I still need to get out more with it.

This detector is well constructed and solid. It has more features than most detectors all in one. It works well and using it more I’m sure it’s going to be better.It’s weight is reasonable but I think with the smaller coil would be much better.Some of the display icons are tiny and hard to see.It offers an array of good information about targets in the ground, helping you to decide whether or not to dig it out. The volume range is great and loud enough for noisy wind and waves at the beach.

What a great metal detector. This is our first metal detector to purchase and it performs better than we expected. Right away, we found an antique railroad button from a uniform! The size is convenient and easy to maneuver. It rarely rains where I live however it’s nice to know it’s waterproof should we need.

i worked at the university of kentucky archaeology lab in lexington ky and we had a bunch of different metal detectors to use at sights as well as GPR units. the Nakto makro legend is an amazing machine for the price and features. water proof and multi freq. as well as multiple programs to customize. for the money great.

This metal detector is everything g you need for beach combing for treasures - works better than any model I have used or seen used (my 3rd detector)
