Loungefly X Star Wars DARTH VADER Cosplay Mini Backpack

The picture shows my two bags side by side. The one on the left I have had for 7 years and it has been on many adventures.These fit a ton of stuff inside including my 18oz reusable water bottle.I was very happy to see this one rereleased so I could get a fresh one. I get compliments on it all the time. Nothing but love for Loungefly.

I bought this backpack clear back in May & honestly, I don’t want a different bag ever again. It holds so much stuff without being a huge bag & the quality is great (typically Loungefly doesn’t ever lack there). For me to use a bag this long is insane, because I’m a real bag lady. All I’m saying is, if you’re thinking about purchasing this, just do it. It’s beautiful. I get compliments often.

I love this little backpack! I bought it originally to be used for a trip to Disneyworld to replace my purse. But let’s be honest, I use it all the time now. No shame in being a Star Wars nerd! I have received TONS of compliments on it too. If I were to change anything about it, it would be to add a couple of small inner pockets to keep things more organized. As is I use one of the outer side pockets for my phone, the front pocket for small things like lip gloss and all else goes inside the main compartment. Other than that, it’s perfect!

I purchased this last May, 10 months ago. I was waiting for our special day in Disney so I never opened it, it was still in its original packaging when I opened it yesterday.I was wearing an all white outfit and my limited Edition Halcyon Star Cruiser jacket. After I tried everything on I set out for the park hanging my coat carefully on she back seat and the back pack on my bag holder in my vehicle (as I never put my bags on the ground).When we parked in the lot, and I went to grab my gear, I noticed black stains in the shape of the straps of the backpack on my coat!I checked the bag and it was, for lack of a better description, having a chemical reaction that is causing the riveted section of the backpack to “melt”.I hadn’t applied ANYTHING to myself that could have caused this - no lotions, sunscreen, perfumes, etc. I tried to rub the back pack where it was “melting” initially, because I hadn’t figured out that it was actually decomposing … thought maybe there was something on it from the factory. It stuck all over my hands like melted black tar!! The more I rubbed, the more it melted away.l and stuck to me.I used wipes to scrub my hands and it was not easy. It was all over my nails and fingers and was super sticky. Between wipes and napkins I was able to get enough off to feel comfortable trying to pre-treat my coat.Pre-treating my coat to get those stains out took me about 20 minutes, and I still was not able to get the stains out. I had to go into the park without a backpack and with my coat partially stained.I don’t know if you can tell from the pictures that I have attached, but it’s still “melting” and sticky just on the section that attaches the backpack padded portion.I swear I didn’t get ANYTHING on this bag. I have bought dozens of loungefly bags, and never had this issue with any of them.I’m so disappointed because I don’t know if this was an issue when I originally bought it or if this happened over the last 10 months. But it shouldn’t matter because I didn’t do anything to cause this and it was still wrapped in the paper and then the plastic bag that was originally purchased in with the little anti-moisture bags. These bags should be able to be stored for years in the original packaging (as I have been doing with all of my other bags without issue).Since it’s been so long, I’m not entitled to my money back, which seems rather unfair, but understandable due to the time since I purchased it. So I’m writing this review to let others know you should double check all the materials and make sure nothing has a sticky feeling to it, because if it does, you need to return it immediately. I hope this never happens to anyone else.The photos of the jacket are after I pre-treated it once, but I’ve not been able to get the stains out enough to wash it so I have to do it again it’s very sticky like tar. Wish me luck.

I use it to hold a light jacket, my keys and wallet when I don’t have pockets. The straps are a little weird, but overall for the price - you’re paying for the Star Wars and the loungefly label. There’s another one that’s $30 but includes a small red light. 🤣 don’t buy the wrong one!

The only thing I found strange was the pinstripe lining instead of the black lining that says Star Wars like some of the other bags. It is a mini backpack however, I was able to fit a a full size wallet inside it horizontally. There is no interior pocket but a small outer pocket holds my keys and the side pockets my sunglasses. The material is nice and the construction sturdy. A great character bag.

Love this mini backpack ! I'm a dude , and I love it ! The quality is great and the design is right on with the pictures man ! My nintendo switch fits in ther perfectly ! It fits everything
