Super easy to install. our boat went from being very hard to steer to now being able to turn the steering wheel so easily and smoothly! Night and day difference.

Buttery Smooth!
I used this kit to replace the original Teleflex steering system on my 1995 OMC Sunbird Corsair 200SL 5.0L 302 Cobra V8. Once the old steering system was removed, install was actually quite a breeze and went smoothly. Came with all the different instructions you would need depending on your situation for install and all the hardware needed. Even included drilling templates to make install easier even though I did not need them for my application. Now my steering is buttery smooth and lock to lock steering is quick and easy. Very grateful for this product.

Used this to repair a steering cable that had seized on my 1985 Sea Nymph. The original on the boat had a 11.5 foot cable length, so I had the option of either the 11 or 12 foot cable since half lengths are no longer manufactured. By my measurements the 12 foot one would have been too much excess. The 11 foot did work with some careful coaxing thankfully.Now I can steer with so much ease that only a finger is required. Was simple to install and the directions were great!

Great buy
When I bought my boat the steering cable was frozen in place so I cut the whole thing out and replaced it with this set up... I measured according to the directions on the Teleflex website and it was a perfect fit . Now the steering is very smooth and installation was quite simple with very little modification. In my opinion this is a great product for the $$$ and I would recommend buying it.
