FC Folding Pocket Utility Knife - Heavy Duty Box Cutter with Holster, Quick Change Blades, Lock-Back Design, and Lightweight Aluminum Body

This is a great utility knife for cutting pretty much anything. I normally need one that can be used to cut boxes to make them easier to throw away. The knife itself is pretty sharp right out of the box. There are safety features on the latch to keep the razor from opening and closing by itself. You have to actually press and hold the button down to extend and retract the blade. This makes it so the knife cannot close by itself by accident when you are cutting. The blade itself can also be easily replaced all you need to do is unscrew the blade from the center and then replace it with a new blade. What is nice about this blade is that only half it is actually out so when the one side gets dull you just need to turn it around and presto you have another blade to use. The grip is pretty secure and there is a belt hook so you can put it on your belt without worrying about it falling off. This can cut most small boxes as well as tape which is great for me because I always have a ton of boxes and mailers I need to open. The red is actually painted on and it is a bit weak in paint. I actually chipped some of the red paint off rather easily. It is prone to rusting so be careful when you are using this on wet surfaces. Just make sure you dry it off fast after every use. Overall I think this device is pretty nice. It is definitely a good utility knife to have around as it is safe, sturdy, and cuts through boxes and tape like butter.

Hear me out on this,I use this knife all day every day at least 45 hours a week I am constantly taking this out of my pocket to cut something quickly and then sliding it back into my pocket to clip it onto my pocket itself for easy access.What I look for most is ease of use and speed because I really can't afford to have my knife chew up time. This knife is the best if you are specifically looking for ease of use and speed and I will explain.Initially, the knife had to be broken in a little (Or you can loosen it manually). It was very stiff and felt like your average box cutter. I assumed I just bought a run of the mill box cutter, but I enjoyed the button release. I CANNOT stand the springs inside of some box cutters that SNAP it open and shut. There's a razor blade on there man why are you spring loading this thing?Anyways, after less than a month it began to loosen up. Basically this knife became a sort of gravity knife and to me this is it's greatest feature. When you hit the release button the blade portion becomes completely free. While the button is held down you can flick your wrist to open the knife. If you let off the button at the right time (The timing is extremely forgiving) it will catch and stay open. Once done you hold down the button, flick again and it's closed.I have amazed every single coworker by my fluidity of being able to take this out of my pocket, flick, cut, flick, slide back into my pocket. Within seconds and all with one hand.The ONLY downside to this knife is that is loosens up too much. I have been using this heavily for over a year and have had screws fall out that I needed to put back in, however, if you're mindful and tighten things up maybe once a month this won't be an issue.If you are looking for a box cutter/utility knife with the focus on ease of use and speed then you cannot beat this knife. Not to mention the aggressively fair pricing.

Great utility knife. Really solid build, it's not flimsy. The blade mechanism is safe and replacing the blade is also very easy and safe.

What can I say, IT'S PERFECT. This knife locks in the open position very tight and precise. The push button mechanism to open it is nice and smooth. I work in the paper box industry so this is my new all day used tool. Been using it for a couple weeks now slicing open cardboard boxes and it's been holding up really really good. Super easy to change the blades out or flip them around. The blades that they include actually hold up for quite a long time before they need to be replaced. For the amount of cutting I do everyday one blade lasted two weeks And that's pretty awesome!With the belt clip on the side it makes it perfect for me to carry on my waist band instead of in my pocket ...it's actually pretty light and I don't notice it while wearing it during the day. Worth every penny!
