Great product -- used on pressure-treated wood dog ramp
I'm a DIY project guy -- and I didn't receive anything to use this product or to write this review. While this product is not cheap, it's an excellent product!! I used it to coat a newly built wood dog ramp. I was very happy -- has the feel of a heavy-duty, commercial paint product. The keys to success for my project imho were the following (again, used on a wood application):1. It's recommended and I chose to sand the wood prep area using 60-grit sandpaper. In my case, I had to remove a bit of residue from prior self-adhesive product, but also to scuff up the surface a bit.2. You MUST buy separately the mfr's 2-part epoxy primer. This is basically a resin-based coating put on the wood surface (it's not a typical paint primer...acts like a plastic-like coat if you will). Additionally, this resin primer will offer great protection for the wood (unexpected benefit). Mfr notes that once mixed, you must use it within 30 min's. As such, I chose to mix only 50% of each into a 3rd can for the mixing -- so I had 30 min's to paint on 50% of it...then another 30 min's on the second 50% batch. I'd say you have 45 min's before it starts to really thicken up. I highly suggest wearing disposable gloves, as this resin is super-sticky and will harden to anything it dries on. That said, I was able to clean the throw-away brush and use it the next day with the paint (for tight areas).3. You MUST use the mfr's roller. I questioned this one, but admittedly their plastic/spongy 4" roller worked very well and I'd suggest using it (i.e., a typical cotton roller is unlikely to pick up and spread the aggregate within the paint). I used one on this project and saved the 2nd one to use with the rest of the paint if need to recoat the ramp in the future. I tossed the used one, as seemed tough to clean after it sat in the sun a bit.4. You MUST ensure to mix the paint enough to fully spread the aggregate that's within the can using a paint mixing tool bit on your drill (easy purchase if don't have one). Obviously this is to evenly distribute the aggregate, but also to get a consistent paint color. The aggregate will be sitting in the bottom of the can (probably 2" thick or so). You will need to remix the can each time you pour a batch into your paint tray to ensure the aggregate remains distributed. Note that this paint will dry to your metal paint mixing tool very quickly -- so clean it quickly if you don't want the residue on it permanently.5. I suggest using a heavy-duty painter's tape (not normal painter's tape) if you need to tape off items for your project. I used Scotch's green tape and was very happy with it.The aggregate within the paint is a bit like super-crushed seashells...it's super small, basically like asphalt shingle material. The first application of paint acts almost like a primer coat -- you don't have to worry about getting the aggreate perfect, just aim for full surface coverage. With that first coat on, the other coats go on super-easy and quick -- they spread easier using that first layer as a base coat. You can really work on ensuring using the aggregate at the thickness/consistency you want on the 2nd+ coats. I chose to do 4 coats, as my project was small and the roller and tray were going to be tossed when I was done...so it was all or nothing on this project for me (i.e., didn't span multiple days). The paint dried very quickly in the sun...literally dry within just minutes on each layer. At the end of the day, this project worked perfect for my dog ramp -- my dog's paws don't slip at all. I orignally tried using some exterior self-adhesive asphault pads...and while they offered great traction, they did not hold up under the use of my large dogs' nails and when temps cooled into the 20's (lost stickiness) -- it was not going to be a long-term answer. All-in-all, great product -- hope sharing some of my experience will help someone out there!

Amazing unconventional use
This paint is absolutely amazing the primer was purchased to go with it and it covered over my truck with ease. The paint went on super easy with a great texture I know this product is more made for swimming pool walkways playground equipment Etc but I went on conventional and I painted my entire F-150 making its appearance look absolutely amazing while increasing the durability of my truck helping prevent rust while covering up all the old dings and dents and with it being a water-based paint clean up was a breeze. 100% recomend for whatever your next painting task is with many colors to choose from and great customer service.

Tough Stuff
Great product and extremely tough. Prep work is key. I applied it with a roller and brush ensuring each coat was not too thick. I found the best way to apply it was to mix it within the gallon can with a electric mixer. Then I poored just enough into a paint tray for spreading with a roller. I continued to remix the gallon can before dumping more in the paint tray. I painted the interior of my Lowe Roughneck 2070 as well as the tops of the float pods. It took about two and a half gallons for two coats.

Nice color but takes more than 2 coats.
It looks thick but you can still see light spots even after 2 coats.

Great quality
This product has to be continuously stirred at every application point for even distribution. It has good coverage and I was able to get the bottom half of my "tiny home" done in about 2 hours with 2 coats. I was hoping it would stretch for 3 but I'm clumsy...spills happen. It's definitely a quality sealer and with a little effort acetone cleans it off of most things easily. I will be buying another gallon for the top half next week. BEST PART: THE UV PROTECTION IS REAL. Took the temperature inside down immediately. Of course opting for lighter colors optimizes this feature. And yes I am a regular consumer not a sponsored spokesperson for the company. I paid for this myself. Highly recommend if you want slot of bang for your buck. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because a gallon of paint is supposed to cover 350 square ft one time and $100 is a lot for a gallon of paint.

Good coating
I like that it's water based, yet still provides a strong coating. There is a lot of grit in this product to provide the non slip finish. Stir the product every few minutes as you apply it. If you don't, the textured material will settle on the bottom.

Easy to deal with, beautiful end result.
The media could not be loaded. I love what this has done to our screened in porch. It used to be pebbled concrete which had cracked in few places so it had to be filled in, you can kind of still see these, mainly because of light reflection, it's not that noticable in real life. I used a wide brush and likely applied the coats thicker, a roller would get you to a finished product faster, but it would make me have to go in and fix the missed spots. You have to keep stirring this paint every now and then as it has a granular, solid content which sinks to the bottom.Very happy!
