DII 100% Cotton, Everyday Machine Washable Chindi Rag Table Runner, 14 x 72", Multi Color

DO NOT BUY IF YOU PLAN TO WASH YOUR PLACE MATS! I washed these once in cold water, gentle delicate cycle (as label instructed) before first use. 1 has an actual hole in the chindi work, 1 has an unraveling edge (short, sewn end), 4 have loose/unraveling loops on the edges. All are faded and the shape is also irregular as if the short edge shrunk. They are also taking forever to air dry.***Update: I also bought the multicolor table runner. Believe the reviews that it smells HORRIBLE, like a musty basement. It's going back.

I love the rag rugs and thought it would be nice to have placemats to compliment the rug I have in front of the kitchen sink. I was a little disappointed that these placemats have a LOT of the extremely bright fluorescent pink fabric in them. I was going to return them in hopes to find a different brand/color but did decide to keep them and use as mats under our dogs' water/food bowls.

These placemat are heavy-weight and sturdy. Large size, which is great. Color just a little darker than the photo, but a beautiful blue shade. They look striking on our butcher block kitchen table. Very happy with my purchase - may order another 6!

I used these for Thanksgiving, to set a rustic-theme Thanksgiving table. They looked GREAT. Were well-constructed and well-made. I will almost certainly order more in a different color for other table settings.

So i don't understand all the negative reviews on the smell and on this rug? For the price this cannot be beat! I paid $12! Mine was normal on the smell and not strong at all and yes it has a light formaldehyde smell as does anything fabric you buy new in store or offline because that's what they coat with! I have no need to wash it yet anyways although if i need to i will delicate cold in my front loader! Very sturdy and heavy duty and perfect thickness for a table runner. Also the colors to my rug are actually brighter than what my camera took too😊 Some said it's too thick and i disagree. Yes you are gambling on the color you get but i bought one in very good condition to save a few bucks and was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful bright colors and the pinks and blues that i needed to match my dining room boho vibe! The colors worked out for me and i was fully prepared to wash and hang outside from the smell and/or send it back for a gamble on another color to match my dining area but i was pleasantly surprised and it worked out!!😊 And on another note i measured my table to make sure it would fit and yes the size is correct with the 72" as well i had no issues with that either like some! Hangs over just the right amount! Thank you thank you!!
