Thick walled
More microcentrifuge tube than PCR tube. Walls are quite thick which can change thermal transfer properties. Look for thin wall tubes which are better for PCR. Returning these.

Great tube and caps!
Uniform. High quality. Snug fitting cap with a satisfying snap. Literally one cent per tube. Crazy affordable. My use is a bit unconventional. I’m using it to slow release essential oil by poking a small hole with a fine tip needle. Overall, very happy! 5 stars.
