Colors are flesh, they blend well, they re-constitute well, all good so far
Even though I'm new to watercolor, I am very happy with these pigments.I purchased several brands including Holbein, Grumbacher, ShinHan, Arteza, and Winsor & Newton. I also have a few Daniel Smith.I swatched and tried all of them except the Winsor & Newton and Daniel Smith. I haven't used the Arteza enough yet to compare to the ShinHan but so far they seemed okay.I prefer the ShinHan over the Holbein although the Holbein was great for blending soft color effects. I found the Holbein blues to be very slightly muddy compared to the ShinHan. My preference is partly based on my fauvist leanings, I like slightly stronger colors, so which is better depends on your preferences. The pigments last a long time. I've done several paintings and there's enough left and I have no trouble re-using pigments that have been squeezed out, they reconstitute well after sitting in the airtight palette box for a few days.I don't know about longevity after they go onto the paper, it takes years to know how well they will last, but in every other respect I love these aquarelles. I will definitely re-buy when I need more.

High quality intense watercolors
This review is for ShinHan Korean Colors (Set A) of 2 available sets. These are not like the student grade or their "Premium" line. The photos show the 24 colors included in this set plus several other tubes that are about 10 years old of the same item. I noticed immediately the labeling was different and now included the information in English which was not on the originals. I made this color chart to compare the colors to the same tubes of the same set I had purchased years ago and to see how the older tubes performed over time. The paints seemed to be the same high quality as the originals and performed perfect as hoped. The older tubes held up extremely well and had not dried up or become brittle with time. They are very soft, high pigment and intense paint. Some of the paints are opaque without looking muddy or chalky but all of them can be thinned to make beautiful intense washes. This is a great watercolor paint and I was happy to see they are available on Amazon since the art store I did order them from no longer stocks them. The paints have proven to last a long time without quality loss but I have not tested lightfastness so I have no information. Each tube in this set includes pigment and lightfastness information. Amazon does sell the "B" set as well but I have not purchased that one yet since I do still have many of the colors included in it.

Great value and color
I’m a beginner so haven’t tried many watercolors but I think these are great. I wanted a wide variety of color to play with and learn watercolor so this price/quantity was great. A couple colors were very watery but still look great on paper. Just be careful if you are traveling with the half pans. I think it’s the light purple, and one of the browns. Color is great on paper

Lovely tube paints
As a newer watercolorist, I wanted beautiful pigments, and preferred tube paints. These have been wonderful to work with and I have not ever been worried about their performance and results. I am not the 'go to person' for lightfastness, or pigment breakdown - I paint to amuse myself, so I do not have the professional expertise to claim anything else. These paints have been a joy to work with, and I have been exceedingly happy with the results.

Quality watercolor paint
I love this set of watercolor painting. Great thickness and it isn’t watery like the other ones I purchased before. A bit expensive but it’s worth the valu.
