Works great! Way less expensive
This is a direct replacement and performs exactly like the original.Keep I mind you have to remove the tire, whew cowling, and detach half the bumper to access the ballast/headlight. It is not possible to install the ballast without removing the headlight. Takes a decent amount of time.Pro tip: hold on tight to tools in the engine bay and set the far away, don’t set them on top of anything in the engine bay. They will fall down and get stuck on the plastic underbody guard. It is super dirty and hard to access. Do whatever you need to do to not drop any thing. Use magnetic sockets and bits. You won’t regret it.

Perfect fit for BMW ‘08 335xi (E90 N54)
This ballast is a perfect 1-to-1 match for OEM. The exact ballast that my E90 calls for. Same quality as the factory. Pins matched up perfectly. Location and position of the mounting points/screws was spot on.

Low Quality
Fast delivery and the ballast fixed my headlights immediately. Unfortunately the ballast only worked for 5 weeks and there’s no way to contact Autokaybfor a replacement and Amazon will only help in the first 30 days

335i e90 ballast
I purchased this before 3 year ago. I purchased againt because my told my headlight went out. I didnt check my headlight I just order the part. When i went to install it. I found she disconnect the ballast. I end up with extra ballast. I dont like to return stuff so I just keep as a spare.

Burned my headlight bulbs
after 8 months of putting this on my. car it burned all the bulbs in the headlight; the Angel eyes and the adaptive headlight…It progressively made the headlight light go from a blueish tone to a yellowish color
