🛠️ Insulate Like a Pro—Seal the Future Today!
The Vega BondV600 Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation Kit is a high-density, two-component foam sealant that yields 600 board feet of insulation. With an R-value of R-7 per inch, it provides an airtight seal, effectively filling penetrations and cracks in various applications, including rim joists, roofs, and walls. For optimal results, ensure canisters are at 75°F or above before application.

Worked very well - edited
I liked this product a lot. I foamed two exterior walls in my front room over garage. The foam was fast and easy. I sprayed on a hot day, I sprayed water on the walls to add moisture, and I used P100 mask because I am more likely to cough than some. My mistake was thinking that I needed to fill the stud bays with foam, which I did using the purple stuff from this manufacturer sprayed on top of the 2 inches of this product. It resulted in purchasing and wasting a lot of foam, and having to work hard to sand the foam flush for sheetrock installation. There are photos posted by others here that show an approximately 2 inch thick spray application and I believe this is all the insulation we need in many cases. Sealing out air leaks from the cold side is very effective. I caulked the plates and studs where they were not foamed and could leak air. I used insulation covers for can lights with foam sealant or the puprle from this company. I sealed the sheetrock edges and ceiling penetrations with foam as well.Update. I got a second kit and sprayed the bottom of the subfloor, about 325 board feet. The kit could potentially stretch to the advertised coverage, but I knew that I had so many funny shapes to go around and gaps to fill that I was going to get less coverage. There was a lot of ductwork in the space between garage ceiling and the room that I finished in the above paragraph. I had to pull down some sheetrock, not all but enough to reach in and spray foam in tight spaces. The ductwork made this pretty difficult, but any other insulation would have been impossible from below, and blow in might have worked from above, but I would have had to remove many floor sheets. Foam cans are way too big and don't spray upwards, but this gun and hose sprays any direction and the gun barely made it in between some of the obstacles. So the spray foam, in my opinion, did an excellent job. It stuck well and was easy to apply to an open and easy to reach underside of a subfloor without dropping off. I clogged one tip and changed it. The instructions say the tip clogs in 20 sec if not sprayed. I dropped the hose, and I was on scaffolding so I could not avoid that clog. The cans and valves are excellent. The valves are guarded by steel. If you twist them the correct direction, they don't break and work fine. My tank was 82 or 84 degrees, the garage door was open, but the garage may have been slightly hotter. Between the hasmat suit, the goggles, the heat from the foam curing, and the P100 filter mask I was wearing, I did get pretty hot and tired. Dang I am glad this is over. But I am definitely going to hate finishing the sheetrock.

Vaseline is your friend
The media could not be loaded. Used the 600 bdft kit for the underside of a 10' X 20' steep pitched (10 in 12) metal roof and gable end walls. It was just the right amount to complete the project as shown in the pictures.First time I've used spray foam, so of course just as I was getting the hang of it, I was done.If I had another job to do, I'm sure it would turn out neater and end up with less on myself, ladders, etc.I did have the foresight to put vaseline on my wrists and face and mineral oil on my eyes. I wore a spray sock over my head and respirator. The included glasses are not really adequate eye protection, I switched to a closed goggle type I had and went through 3 pairs because overspray starts to impair vision.I recommend putting vaseline on the nozzle, gun, glove and first foot or so of hoses when spraying overhead.I used three of the 6 fan shaped nozzles included. First one popped off when I dropped the gun, second one I replaced after a 15 minute break to change eye protection etc. The third I used till I saw bubbles in the resin line approaching the gun indicating the tanks were near empty. The can of cleaner included was missing the cap and sparay nozzle, but I found them at the bottom of the box under the tank- apparently jarred loose in shipping.I used the cleaner to clean the gun in the nozzle area when changing nozzles along with a healthy dollop of vaseline. The result is a nice dense foam, quite rigid and appears durable with excellent adhesion. The underside of the roof is dramatically cooler.

Super Easy To Use
I have never use spray foam prior. I had 94 model dw and had all old insulation pulled out and replaced floors etc. this kit did almost half the house and was super easy to use. I had zero issues.

Good DIY Spray Foam Kit
I purchased this kit because I bought a house that the previous owner enclosed what used to be the front porch and now acts as a sunroom. Our house is pier & beam and the room gets really hot in the summer and really cold in the winter. I looked under the house and noticed that there was no subfloor, just the original porch wood slats. When looking at the right angles you could actually see sunlight through some the cracks in the floor so we decided to try out spray foam. I did research and this type of project called for closed cells fast rise spray foam. We had roughly about 200 sq/ft to cover and I was advised to put about 3” of coverage so we bought the 600 sq/ft kit. This kit comes with just about everything you need other than a proper respirator which I bought separately. I would assume this is a much easier job when insulating walls or spaces that aren’t tight like the crawl space I was doing underneath. Of the 8 nozzles it comes with, I used 6 of them and took me a little over an hour and a half to complete. This stuff is MESSY, do NOT underestimate that part. The directions are clear and I would recommend following them exactly as outlined for proper use. We did experience leaking from the hose attachment from the blue tank even the it was on properly and tightened with the wrench that was provided. Not sure what we could have done differently there. We live down in south Louisiana where temperatures can get very hot and very humid. I hope this will help address some of our insulation issues in this room. I will update this review in about a month.
