Spyder 5008176 Volkswagen Golf/GTI 10-13 LED Tail Lights - Black

*UPDATE* Amazon was great about exchanging the lights out for me. It turns out the only reason the warning light was turning on is b/c the reverse lights had not been installed. I had to do that myself. so now they function properly and look awesome!*UPDATE*These tail lights came very promptly, and I wasted no time installing them in my 2011 Golf. They work great, look even better, and were super easy to install! The only reason I gave them a 3 s because of the warning light that is now on in my car. Whenever I start my car the warning light comes on that indicates that there is something wrong with at least one of my lights. I am not sure why it has come on, I have checked all of the connections repeatedly. I contacted the company to see if they have any info for me and I'm waiting to hear back from them. But again otherwise they look great!

Look great. Smoked mine. Cause trouble light that cannot clear but you are for warned in the write up.

These tail lights look great but suffer from poor QA. I wanted tail lights that looked smoked without impacting the visibility at night -- these fit the bill perfectly. I ordered them during the summer and installed them promptly, receiving many compliments. Unfortunately, now that the rainy winter season is upon us, it has only just become apparent that these tail lights were not sealed properly and have allowed water to seep in. There is now black mold growing inside one of my assemblies on the silver portion. The worst part is that due to the late arrival of the rain, I only just discovered this problem and am beyond the return window. While the products look great, anything that impairs the functionality or aesthetics knocks a majority of the stars off.In the attached image, you can see the black mold. Please excuse the dusty car!

They look great and were easy to install. Unfortunately they stopped working and the seller (RacinG) does not honour the 1 year warranty as laid out by the manufacturer. Avoid.

I love the subtle, not too flashy "smoke" color on my dark grey GTI. They are good looking without looking too after market. I had cracked one of my tail lights and it was filling with water so I needed new ones. Easy installation, only took a few hrs, and I have never done this before. These tail lights really give my car a style boost without looking like a gaudy LED light show. Highly recommended

They were extremely easy to install. Lights look amazing. As someone else mentioned if you want to switch the reverse lights with led make sure they are 1156, and not the wedge type bulb.

Overall, product is excellent. Actual product fits description and is packaged very securely. LED light worked as expected. The only concern is the bulb base for reverse lights. Stock reverse bulbs base are wedge style and the Spyder product is different. But the product came with 2 reverse bulb that fit the Spyder base. So don't worry about having to buy them yourself. In case you need get LED reverse bulbs, make sure it is not wedge base, i believe the bulb base you should look for is 1156 or similar.

Great lights, got 2 sets and placed on both 2011 & 2012 Golf TDIs. Easy to put in, looks great..
