DharmaObjects3 Box Tibetan Original Nagarjuna Healing Incen

I use incense regularly for my spiritual practice. The Nagarjuna incense is a good incense. Not overpowering. Not sweet, more woodsy, earthy scent that does not overpower. The 3 boxes are a good buy. Easily lit. Continues burning to ash to the bottom of the stick. The sticks are long and so can be broken in half to burn just for the time of practice. Some of the sticks are a bit curved, but are still useful. Not a problem.

Nagarjuna is one of my favorite go-to Tibetan- style incenses. If you are not familiar with this type of incense, it is an earthy smell, not sweet like Nag Champa or other incenses from India. It is composed of different herbs, red sandalwood is definitely one of them. The packaging is also very nice. I highly recommend this incense.

The incense is okay, but that may be because I was disappointed in the scent. Other people may love it, but the incense smells like burning paper. I couldn't get the Tibetan incense that I love, and this was a poor substitute. It does last a long time though; however, it will not fit in a standard incense burner hole. I have experienced this with other Tibetan incenses. They are often made with a wider diameter. I had to special order an incense holder to accommodate the extra width.

I first bought this incense many, many years ago. I can't even remember where. When the box ran out, I turned to the internet to find it. The last time I bought it was two years ago. It was really hard to find then. I'm glad it's on Amazon now.The aroma is indescribable. It's not super sweet, but it's very pleasant. It's a complex aroma that helps me relax. The only problem is finding an efficient way to burn the sticks. Most incense holders won't hold the thick stick. I bought a "box" incense burner where I'm supposed to be able to lay the incense across the grates to burn, but it goes out when laying down that way. I have to prop it up to burn it.

None of the sticks were broke! I was so happy. I lit 2 right away and I was surprised they burned for more than an hour. The scent is nice and not strong at all in my opinion but left a nice smell in the air. I definitely recommend.
