Q: I have the looper pedal and the correct power unit, but we get loads of feed back and then it goes berserk with crackle. Any help?

If you're getting feedback then that'd likely be volume/gain is too high. Crackle will be a faulty cable or instrument. Start with all knobs set to low on the pedal (when on) and amp, and gradually turn them up. If the crackling still occurs swap cables.

You can use a synth with all sorts of guitar pedals.. i think it gives a whole new dimension to synth sounds. A word of warning though, synths are typically ‘louder’ than guitars so you may get some unwelcome distortion through the pedal. Turn the synth volume down to remedy this, but note you may then find your noise to level ratio a little high.. i’m not a pro so tbh i find it absolutely fine..

I didn’t keep mine for long. It didn’t do as much as I wanted it to and the software was a waste of time. I only got it for the drum pedal, so I splashed out on a beat buddy instead. The Amuzik one worked on a normal nine volt supply, so I suspect yours is faulty. It was previously marketed under the name of Ronin or something very similar, so you’ll find more information if you look under Ronin (?) beat looper. Hope this helps. Mart
