I bought these originally so great to see them again

Suitable for kids and big kids alike. Graphics are truly excellent as you'd expect. Giled pages and well bound. A must have for any Marvel collection. Penguin have done a great job! The price at Amazon was unbeatable! If you're a Marvel/Lee/Ditko fan, just get it, you won't be disappointed.

With the fabulous original editions of 1960s Spiderman and some previously unseen Marvel comics with precursors of Aunt May and Uncle Ben this edition, in hardback, is a real pleasure to read and enjoy. And there is a few nice words by thoughtful fans too. Definitely recommended by this UK based buyer.

Great stories and insights into the creation of the first Spidey appearances. All the best villains too!

Bought for my son, but he haven’t looked at it much.

If you are a MARVEL fan this is a great opportunity to revisit the earliest adventures of Spider-Man by his co-creators Stan Lee & Steve Ditko. A nostalgic trip back into the 1960s with terrific artwork and tales of bravery and teenage angst. See where it all began for Peter Parker….

Got to introduce my 9 year old to Spider-Man. However, a child now is used to the high-quality animation of today - with tv and comics, that the pictures and characters seems a bit naff to him. He prefers the modern Spider-Man comics. It would be good if some of the origin stuff could be re-published for a modern audience. But if it is, I have not found it.Will be putting this copy up for 2nd hand-held soon.

This was a gift for my Brother who is a Jack Kirby fan and a wanted to show him that Steve Ditko is better.
