Very strong
This device is very strong. I'm using it to keep leaves from blocking an outdoor drain. I had to bend some of the "legs" to get them to fit into the drain cover holes because they didn't match up. It took a lot of effort to get them all in but now it's not going anywhere and it's keeping the big oak leaves from interlocking and blocking this drain.

Fantastic quality
I bought this to replace a similar item that I purchased from Home Depot. That left strainer rusted away and was a small fraction of the thickness of this stainless steel leaf strainer.
