Best for large English Muffin or regular size bagels. Perfect!
My quest for the perfect breakfast sandwich shortcut has finally reached its conclusion. For months, I battled the tyranny of frozen breakfast options, determined to reclaim my mornings and nourish my body with real food. My DIY solution – a cereal bowl, a pat of butter, and a scramble of eggs, pre-cooked and crushed bacon pieces, chives, and cheese – was getting there, but had a fundamental weakness -- The few appropriate bowls I own were prone to sticking even with butter first, or so large in diameter that a single egg transformed into a sad frisbee. While these bowls suited cereal, they proved comically oversized for a single sandwich. This ingenious little breakfast sandwich maker was the missing link. I experimented with other brands of this same idea, only to find them either too petite for a bagel or too cavernous for an English muffin. This one, however, strikes the Goldilocks zone – perfectly sized for both. It's a breeze to clean (pops apart easily), and it cooks like a dream. The included heating guide printed right on the packaging will get you close. In my case 2 large eggs with chives and bacon pieces takes 1:50 in the microwave. The lid snaps on and off effortlessly, and the plastic feels durable enough to withstand countless breakfast creations. I'll spare you the groan and resist calling this a "morning game-changer", but you know, it might be.If you, like me, crave a delicious, homemade breakfast sandwich without the fuss, look no further. This is the one.

High quality! Great price!!
Ok, this product is amazing!! I was looking for an easy fried egg making product and I took a chance on this one. Name brand item. Great price. It works just as good in every way. Play with the cook time a bit. I did 30sec and it’s probably a little long. Looking forward to the next use!! May buy 1-2 more!! This pic is a burger patty, cheese and a fried egg in the OXO. Thanks!!

Works OK for me, but not the best
I browsed through all the reviews prior to purchasing. I like to read the good and the bad so that I can make my own mind up.One video I watched showed how the person thought the red portion would wear out over time by snapping and unsnapping.I decided to order one and got it. I instantly noticed that the red bottom didn't truly SNAP into place like his video showed. I washed the item under room temp water to make sure it was clean. I initially put two scrambled eggs in and my older microwave. I had to set it for three instances of 45 seconds each (again, my Mic is old). The eggs were still a bit runny, so I unsnapped the red plate (it almost too easily came off), and put the eggs on my stone plate to finish cooking. I noticed then that there was egg residue between the seems. Figured the red plate must have warped due to the mic usage. I didn't want to let the item go for 60-90+ seconds for fear of melting it, etc.I really got this item to take to work so that I could have better breakfast's. Their microwaves are new and high power. I put in a single egg and 45 second cook time. The egg was still a bit runny, but was popping. I put it back in for 15 secs, and it was done. Again, the bottom would nearly fall off. I made sure I didn't pick up the item just by the top white part for fear of the red plate and contents would fall onto the floor.All-in-all, this may work for some, but it does not really work for me. I'll go try the 2-for-$6 version where the plate doesn't come off for cleaning / food transfer. The plastic is very thick, so I was hoping this item would last for a long time.UPDATE: Day 3 .. Ok, so I know my home mic is OLD and low power. The one I used at work was new, but medium power. I tried this item on our work 1500W and my egg was done in 40 seconds! I didn't have to flip it and reheat, and the plastic wasn't hot to the touch. So the caveat for a perfect egg with this particular item and your outcome has to do with your microwave and its power level. Now I know which microwave I can use at work and be happy with my breakfast!

Works really well
It does what's advertised and really well! The cook time varies from egg to egg so you should really keep an eye on it. It's not the products fault, just mentioning it. I haven't had any leaks like some others. I just make sure the base is completely snapped on. Makes scrambled and sunny-side up really well. I wouldn't say it's not non-stick but I butter the bottom either way to make sure my eggs really don't stick. It's super easy to clean up. I haven't cooked more than two eggs at a time but I'd really keep an eye on overflow if you cook more, as the eggs can puff up and over. It's not an issue but the one flaw that I can see being one is the lid hinge. It's pretty small structurally. And even though I try to keep the lid attached when cleaning, it tends to pop off. And I can see how the constant attaching and unattaching could weaker the hinge. Hasn't happened yet, though. Have really enjoyed being able to make eggs for breakfast at work with this!

Microwave egg cooker
I like it, very easy to use, very easy clean up, and it makes a decent fried egg, but also it makes a great scrambled egg.

First one lasted almost 7 years, however
Works great on eggs. Better than other things I've tried. Want an egg muffin sandwich? This is the egg cooker. This is my 2nd one. The one I bought in 2017 finally had a part crack off after almost daily use since then. So I bought another. Easy to clean and the egg cooks perfectly. My microwave set to 40 seconds and presto. Lasted almost 7 years of near daily use.***UPDATE: Still working well, however, I have lowered the review to 3 stars as it is no longer a good or even reasonable value for the money. Within 2 weeks of my 5 star review the price went up 42%!! I paid $9.95 for it and it is currently $14.17. I watched for awhile to see if it went back down but it has not. This is the reward we get for giving something a good review.
