I have had UTI's in the past, but never like this. I have struggled with a gram-negative bacteria for over a year. Some days, I swear it is out to kill me. Literally. This D-mannose has kept me from the hospital on NUMEROUS occasions. I will never be without it in my cabinet. Ever. Thank you SO, SO much for your quality product. Words aren't enough.I have used other versions, but this one is the lightest or fluffiest and that doesn't change over the course of using it down to the bottom of the bag. Other brands dry out and get hard. I don't like the bag itself b/c it's not that easy to close back, but then, it saves on bottles. So, I just pour it into a glass jar I keep and scoop out some when needed.Some people say D-mannose doesn't work. It absolutely does! You just need to know how to use it. For a gram-negative bacteria, like E. coli, it acts like a pseudo protein, so the bacteria latches on thinking they are getting a meal, but are excreted out with the urine instead. The key is to keep it in your system. This is not a one and done deal. I take a scoop first thing in the morning in a small amount of water. Then, I drink a lot of water throughout the day. Then another dose before bed. When I'm really in a bad way, I will take another dose in the middle of the day. You will know this is working if the urine smells sweet-ish and is bubbly. Many bubbles are a sign of infection. Providing the bacteria with the D-mannose on a constant basis, reduces the colony count and in return, reduces the symptoms. I once had to use D-mannose for 2 weeks straight before I could ease up on the dosage. Now, when I feel any inkling of a symptom, I go straight for the powder. It begins to work in about 30 minutes. Even when the symptoms are bad. No need for antibiotics acting like Napalm within my body.This product is wonderful!!!

The taste is smooth like candy, sweet and goes with any food. Small scoop perfectly measures for you. Good packaging keeps it fresh! I will continue to buy this product.

I've started having UTIs about every other year. I became worried about this. As females age UTIs becomes an increasing concern. Cranberry juice wasn't really working no matter how much I drank. I began an online search for non medical ways to prevent them. I found D-Mannose listed as a suggestion on a site sponsored by doctors to help prevent UTIs. I began investigating it. I found a few studies that indicated it helped prevent them. One study indicated that D-Mannose worked better than a common medicine for UTI. I decided to give it a try. I then looked up suggested doses. I chose this product because it is close to the suggested dose. I prefer powered form. That way I'm not paying for the unnecessary things that pills and capsules have. This product is made in the way I prefer: no GMO, fillers, additives etc. The cost is great. One bag will last 2 months used as directed. It dissolves easily, no clumps or lumps with minimal stirring effort. The taste is sweet. That's not surprising as D-Mannose is a form of glucose. There's only 2 grams of sugar per serving. I was concerned because I am diabetic. This small amount of carbs is easy to fit in my diet. I don't know if this product will aid in UTI prevention. I have hopes based on what I read. More importantly the reading was from sites that didn't push a specific brand or store.
