No I’m sure you can’t! This is a toy. If looks much like a coffee maker. Has some sounds. But I would try any liquids.

Q: How do you clean / dry the inside of the machine after using with water? I'm concerned about mold developing if it does not dry out properly.

You don’t put water in machine. It’s all fake. Nothing to clean. Just turn it on and sounds like water .

My grandson has this pretend coffee machine. There is no water involved. He just puts cup in place and starts it. It makes sound . That’s it. Sorry if that doesn’t help. Pat

One little cup pre filled. I returned it FYI. The sounds are disappointing and not realistic.
