Q: What do you suggest for a soon to be 10 year old girl?

My daughter is 10 she is about 4’8” and around 75 lbs I ordered her 150 it fits well and she has a little room to grow in it. I hope this helps

Q: can you put it in the washer and dryer

I would not dry it, but the washer on a light cycle would be fine. The tuies on the kimono will fray and unravel though, so burn the ends prior to washing. Keep in mind that these are costume quality so don't have high expectations.
