Perfect Portrait
Perfect for portraits. I think some reviews are getting mixed up with skintone pencils. Portraits will have blues, greens and purples etc for eyes!

Disappointing watercolour pencils
Bought these because they were labelled 'portrait'. However, the fact there were greens and blues and purples included would make for VERY peculiar skin tones. I assumed there would be a neutral selection of colours, to give the artist the ability to colour a wide range of ethnicities. But these colours would be better suited for alien life forms!These pencils are not the easiest to blend either, leaving quite a harsh line, even when water is added. All in all, a big disappointment

Smooth and well pigmented
Extremely smooth and soft, unlike regular, everyday color pencils. They blend smoothly and beautifully. It comes with an indepth breakdown of the different colors included in the set, as well as different techniques you can perform with the set. I like that it also came with a step-by-step drawing. I believe this particular set is a good size for the money but others are -in my humble opinion- too expensive.
