~Great gloves for almost anything~
I’ve mostly used these for landscaping and have held up well so far. Digging with fingers in tight places, pulling weeds, and throwing mulch are just a few things I’ve done with em. Material has held up but there is only one issue. The lettering on the back of hand starts to come off and kinda dangles. It’s not an issue for me but can see it being annoying for others. I’ll be buying these again for sure!

Great gloves—but size up if you’re in between!
I’ve been a fan of Mechanix gloves for years, and the Original Covert Tactical version definitely lives up to the name. Great grip, solid flexibility, and they hold up well whether you’re wrenching, shooting, or just doing yard work with a little style.Only one heads-up: these seem to run a bit smaller than expected. I ordered an X-Large (my usual size), and while they technically fit, they’re snug enough to make me wish I’d gone up a size—especially around the fingers and knuckles. If you’re in that gray area between sizes or just prefer a bit more wiggle room, I’d recommend sizing up.Touchscreen capability works fine for quick swipes or answering calls, and the durability is top-notch like every other pair of Mechanix I’ve owned.Overall: awesome gloves—just don’t let the size fool you.

GREAT FOR WIDE SHORT HANDS!
I have very wide hands. 4.25 inches wide and short fingers. Generally I have to get XL gloves and deal with the long fingers. But the open wrist velcro design make it very compatible for wide hands. There was practically no smell and they feel very durable. Only complaint is the finger tip seems stiff, but im hoping with time it will break in. I have heard of operators that sand down the tips a bit to wear in the pointer finger. Can't wait to use these tactically.

pleasantly suprised
usually, I have a hard time trying to find a pair of gloves that fit my hands correctly. these things fit perfectly. no overly long fingers, no short webbing from thumb to first finger. they seem to be made from a decent material that will hold up well, as long as you don't physically abuse them.

Finger Length Odd
I own many pairs of this brand. These are not great. Pinky finger way too long. Ring finger slightly long.

Excellent buy
Excellent and feels snug. Buy a size smaller. No weird smells either.
