For the price this little EQ can't be beat. I had not heard of or used this brand before, but it works really well. Each band shapes the sound a lot. You can hear big differences with just minor adjustments. Of course it's going to matter what other components are being used as well. I am using a four channel amplifier running out to Cerwin Vega 6x8 speakers, so clearly the EQ signal is getting amplified, making the controls more touch sensitive. I almost don't even need a subwoofer because it sounds so good.I'm sure this EQ will sound good in a stock setup, but why would anyone want to do that? If you are wanting quality sound, you need to upgrade your components all around.This goes to show that you don't have to spend a ton of money to get a good sounding system (all of my components are budget friendly, even the Cerwin Vega speakers and sub).I can't speak for longevity or reliability as I just installed it, but it seems like a quality unit. Time will tell.If you are undecided about this EQ, I would recommend giving it a shot. The value at this price point is worthwhile.

Absolutely no background hiss, even when turned up with no input signal. Excellent granular control of your sound, subwoofer control handy to use.

Small compact and good quality

So I have this wired up and mounted but haven't used it yet. Waiting on my subs to get here and see how the sound is.
